Some parents believe that the children they bring into this world become their property and that they belong to them and them alone. Parents are sometimes clueless to the difference in stewardship and ownership. What happened to the old adage that says "IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD'. If Wisdom is the key to success, then why do most parents dismiss it from the people who have it. It is a "Color Purple Moment", as parents want to be "The Only One" to advise their children except when that advice comes from some foolish influence in which they are exposed to. The Host of Let's Talk Truth and her guest will explore "A Parent's Responsibility" when bringing children into this world. What are we pouring into our children to force them to behave as they do and what can be done to lead them in the righteous direction. This show continues our series "Your Path to Good Credit". Our dialogue will focus on "Accountability over Responsibility". Credit has a measure of accountability AND responsibility. Often times, responsibility is what gets more attention. So in this episode, we will explore: a. Should we focus more on responsibility, accountability or both? Then what does that look like practically? b. Who's accountable during credit transactions - the lender, borrower or both? Call in @ 8pm EST or listen online. #PRF

Welcome to Happiness Index. Today we will revisit the value responsibility and service as a path to happiness. Responsibility is the act of being accountable for something within one's control. A Course in Miracles goes deeper, it says, I am responsible for what I see. I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve. And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked. It reminds us that we are responsible for our thoughts, feelings and actions. It is through service that we can express the happiness that we feel. As we come to the realization of the source of our happiness, we can make changes. We can choose to be happy learners. We can make happiness our choice and choose love over fear, peace instead of conflict. We can choose to be responsible for every choice that we make. When we communicate with one another why do we take the information that was shared with us as bad or sad or happy or glad or all those words that we can use? When I am working with someone I can tell just by how they are sharing their life stories with me if they are taking the responsibility and accountability that comes with being in charge of their lives.
Today we will talk about the relationship between REAL change and your willingness to own your choices
This episode encourages the dea of responsibility on our lives. Sometimes our society wants to push off responsibility to other things and people when we really are responsible for our own lives. The recording will encourage each one of us to look within to be responsible for our actions.

Name me one politico who has ever stated, "I do not believe in fiscal responsibility." If there has been anyone who has openly made that statement we have found the first honest politician (well, at least when it comes to fiscal matters).
Part of every campaign are pronouncements of being a "fiscal conservative". My first question for all politicos is "What does fiscal responsibility mean?" or "How when you bring fiscal responsibilty to the State of South Carolina or the Federal Budget?" Instant stammering and I will study comments are regurgitated.
South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis, Jr. will be joining us as we gather "In the Pickle Barrel" to discuss fiscal responsibility in light of the various proposals being brought before the SC Legislature. In addition, we will attempt to attach a real definition to the term "Fiscal Responsibility".
