Co Hosts, Paul Thomas & Bobby Moon. LA musicians who formed a musical partnership "Spellbound" and have been performing and producing an expanding catalog of critically-acclaimed CDs for over 20 years. Spellbound is very concerned with what is happening in our atmosphere these days and have began researching this topic. They have also written a song "Poison in our Skies" to help raise awareness.
Special guest: Dane Wigington has an extensive background in solar energy. He is a former employee of Bechtel Power Corp. and was a licensed contractor in California and Arizona. His personal residence was featured in a cover article on the world’s largest renewable energy magazine, Home Power. He owns a 1,600-acre “wildlife preserve” next to Lake Shasta in northern California.
Dane focused his efforts and energy on the geo-engineering issue when he began to lose very significant amounts of solar uptake due to what ever-increasing “solar obscuration” caused from the aircraft spraying. He also noted significant decline in forest health and began testing and research into the geo-engineering issue about a decade ago.
Dane is the lead researcher for http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org and has investigated all levels of geo engineering from chemtrails to HAARP. He assisted Michael Murphy with his production of “What in the World are They Spraying” and has appeared on an extensive number of interviews to explain the environmental dangers we face on a global level. He lives in Mt. Shasta, California.
Ignore the propaganda about today's children in America's urban communities being lazy dropouts that only want tofight and sell drugs. It's not a bit true, and for those who worked with young people this summer, they discovered an enthusiastic group of youth who are excited about science, technology, engineering and math! Lauren Ward, author of The 6 Step Plan: Rising To Greatness To Fulfill Your Destiny, worked with students in the PUSH Excel STEM Program thjis summer, teaching them how to master the new media technology. A recent graduate of Howard University, she recognized that many youth have a burning desire to excel, and merely needed the opportunity to learn. It is our responsibility as parents to cultivate the natural genius in our children, and to ignore the propaganda that others continue to spread, making excuses as to why urban schools are underfunded and undersupported. We can turn our homes into institutions of higher learning. We can give our children a different vision of their future; we can teach them that they are here to take over and change the world that others have destroyed, by discovering new ways to produce fuel, travel, grow food, and communicate. We can instill in our children the reality that the word is falling apart so that they can rebuild it the way it should be - with fairness, justice, and respect for all. Lauren Ward give tips on how to motivate youth to strive for their highest potential.
Listen in as Don Roberts and Raja Olimuthu of Tecplot, Inc. discuss some of the complexities reservoir engineers are managing.
The same data deluge that's affecting so many different industries is also hitting reservoir engineers. Those who have the software to manage it are able to integrate ever increasing amounts of data into their systems. They're riding the data wave.
We'll discuss how Tecplot RS helps reservoir engineers visualize large amounts of information in highly specific ways, while making them much more efficient.
Carl Tedesco was introduced to ULTRA marathons in 2007. As he continued his engineering career with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and working as a professor at San Diego State University, one of his students helped to inspire him to run more. Since then he has run numerous ULTRA marathons and completed five 100 mile races, San Diego 100 miles twice, Javalina Jundred, Chimera 100M, and Zion 100M. He continues to inspire students at San Diego State University to pursue careers in engineering as an advisor for the Rocket Club.
Paul Sidney certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will explain the improvement methodology Value Engineering. He will explain when to use Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma or Value Engineering to tackle problems in your business.
Also we will get our weekly coaching tips from our business coach Doug Winnie.
See who our special guest will be in two weeks on Creative Biz Ideas.

Genetically Modified Organisms GMOs, altered by genetic modification of the seeds, can render consumers infertile and undermine their health. Genetic engineering develops seeds compatible with their brand of herbicide and/or for other traits. GMOs may cause deterioration of DNA, the immune system, the colon and other organs.

ENVISION THIS: A technology that heats and cools homes, increases comfort, saves money, and benefits the environment all in one.
Our guest, Adam BarkerHoyt of Maine Alternative Comfort, sees the efficiency and savings offered by minisplit heat pump technology as something that can substantively benefit people, the environment and the economy. He and his team use their 40 years of combined experience in fields of energy, math, and science to educate customers, and training subcontractors to install the minisplit heat pumps.
Maine Alternative Comfort has installed 700 heat pumps in Maine homes, including that of the energy guru, Dick Hill, Professor Emeritus of the mechanical engineering department, and the governor’s mansion. Heat pumps are easy to install, easy to operate and save on energy costs. Adam says, “A typical homeowner in Maine spends roughly $3,000 per year in oil, kerosene, propane, or electric heat. But, a simple retrofit can cut these costs in half! With a savings of $1,500 per year and an initial cost of $3,000, Fujitsu minisplit heat pumps pay themselves off in 2 years... resulting in thousands of dollars of savings, increased energy security, and a greener environment.”
The best part is they can be installed in just a couple of hours and operated at the push of a button.
Some people do things just because they can, without thinking that there are bareers involved. Such people are very few and far between. Meet Kagonya, the first African with a Masters degree in Human Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University. CMU (Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is the top university in HCI globally. She recently received the Google Anita Borg Scholarship. As an African woman in tech she takes us through her journey of HCI and let's us know the importance of the field. Join me on this tech series as we get acquainted with this ambitioius and talented lady!

One of the Worlds' greatest archaeological mysteries, one which has excited man's imagination for countless centuries, is whether ancient Sea Peoples from the Old World were actually able, and did, cross the Oceans to make contact and trade with the indigenous populations of the New World.
Ample evidence in the way of seeds, fruits, pollen, flaura and fauna - even the occasional human skeleton - and inscriptions suggest some form of contact but there has never been absolute, substantiated proof of a diffusion between Nations of the Old and New World.
The Author's tenacious and relentless belief that a Culture other than the Nasca constructed the 'Nasca Lines' archaeological monument had an unexpected twist - his discovery of a massive Phoenician inscription actually enscribed within the 'Nasca Lines' itself.
Then discovery of a colossal rock sculpture in the form of a 'Sacred Lamb' surrounded by Phoenician inscriptions rapidly moved the research area into the High Altiplano of the Southern Andes Mountains: there the author discovered an ancient astronomical observatory, a vast Landscape Planetarium, a Scriptorium - the largest area of ground based Phoenician inscriptions ever found in Peru, a Plaza of rock carved Human Heads and finally the coup d'grace - a 300 kilometer "Great Highway" embellished with human head statues, gorgons, carvings of flaura and fauna and an abundance of Phoenician inscriptive material.
William James Veall was educated at The Queen Mary Grammar School, Basingstoke, England. He studied engineering at Basingstoke and Southampton Colleges of Technology, and read Environmental Science, Archaeology and Spanish at the University of Southampton, UK.
