TONIGHT NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE WILL TACKLE THE QUESTION, WHY DOES THE REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT NEED TO BE REPLACED?
IN RECENT YEARS, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS LOST ELECTIONS LARGELY DUE TO LACK OF SPARK IN THE PARTY'S BASE. FOLLOWING THE REAGAN REVOLUTION AND THE LAST TWO ELECTION LANDSLIDES DUE TO CONSERVATIVE AND BLUE COLLAR SUPPORT, THE PARTY HAS FALLEN INTO A RUT WHERE THE ESTABLISHMENT THINKS IT HAS INDEPENDENT APPROVAL AUTHORITY TO NOMINATE A MUSHY, MILQUETOAST CANDIDATE. EVEN WITH THE TWO VICTORIES BY GEORGE W. BUSH, THE PARTY MOVED DRAMATICALLY AWAY FROM THE PRINCIPLES OF REAGAN AND WON TWO CLOSE ELECTIONS WHICH SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN CLOSE AT ALL. AND SINCE THEN, THE LIKES OF JOHN MCCAIN AND MITT ROMNEY, WHILE GOOD MEN, FAILED TO EXCITE A BASE WHICH WAS LOOKING FOR SO MUCH MORE.
TONIGHT WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT 2016 AND THE WAY THE ESTABLISHMENT IS TRYING TO STOP THE INSURGENTS, MOSTLY OUTSIDERS, WHO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE WAY PARTY BUSINESS IS DONE. DONALD TRUMP AND TED CRUZ OFFER THE MOST DRAMATIC EXAMPLES OF A PUSH FOR AN OVERHAUL OF THE PARTY WITH BEN CARSON ALSO IN THAT CATEGORY. AS JEB BUSH FALTERS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT TRIES TO CREATE A SWELL OF SUPPORT FOR MARCO RUBIO, A MAN WHO HAS ALREADY BETRAYED THE THINGS THAT GOT HIM ELECTED, TRUMP AND CRUZ OFFER THE BEST HOPE FOR REAL CHANGE AND REAL RESPONSE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. AND WITH TRUMP'S ABILITY TO SHOWCASE ISSUES, WE FIND OURSELVES AT LONG LAST DEALING WITH THE ISSUES THAT THE PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED WITH AND THIS CLEARLY UPSETS THE ESTABLISHMENT AND THEIR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MASTERS.
THE SHOW STARTS AT 9:30 AND THEN WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND 24/7. I HOPE YOU WILL TUNE IN TO OUR PREVIEW OF THINGS TO COME.
Good morning, today on The Meter we cover the first republican debate. Who did well and who did not? The ratings on the Fox News hosted debate were the highest ever as 26 million Americans tuned in. The debate featured tough questions that many felt put the candidates on the spot. On the democrat side Hillary Clinton claimed she didn't watch and was hangin with the Kardashians. Please join the discussion at 9:00 AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential. www.blogtalkradio.com/themeter

LET'S GET READY TO EVOLVE INTO HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS...
ON THURSDAY NIGHT'S EDITION OF NORTH FLORIDA WRITER LIVE PATRICK READ, FOUNDER AND EDITOR IN CHIEF OF THE CONSERVATIVE REPORT (CONSERVATIVE REPORT.ORG) WILL JOIN ME FOR A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE AFTERMATH OF THE 3RD REPUBLICAN PRIMARY PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE. WHO DID WELL? WHO DIDN'T GET TRACTION? WAS ANYBODY KNOCKED OUT? AND OTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE PONDERED. WE WILL ALSO EXPLORE WHY THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE CONTINUALLY ALLOWS MODERATORS TO BE JOURNALISTS OF THE MOST LIBERAL PERSUASION AS JOHN HARWOOD SURELY IS.
WE'LL PROBABLY BROACH SOME OTHER SUBJECTS AS WELL AS THIS WILL BE A FREE FLOWING DISCUSSION ABOUT THE AMERICAN ELECTORATE AND WHAT WE WANT AND EXPECT. IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO TALK WITH PATRICK WITH HIS HIGH LEVEL OF ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM, BUT I PROMISE WE WILL TRY NOT TO TALK OVER EACH OTHER IF WE GET EXCITED.
CONSERVATIVE OR LIBERAL, IF YOU LIKE TO LEARN ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN A TOPSY TURVY YEAR IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY JOIN US FOR THE SHOW. IT WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9:02 AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON DEMAND 24/7 SHORTLY AFTER IT'S CONCLUSION.
IT'S YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR TAX MONEY SO YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION. AFTER ALL, WHEN WE DON'T PAY ATTENTION WE USUALLY GET SOMETHING MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WE WANTED. HOPE YOU'LL TURN IN.
On the RedMaryland NewsHour Convention Edition for Friday, November 27th, 2015:
The Post-Thanksgiving RedMaryland NewsHour is our Convention Edition, where we cover what went on at the Fall Convention of the Maryland Republican Party.
We hear from @RichardJDouglas @CKefalas @KathyforMD
@mdreps Chair Diana Waterman @RepAndyHarrisMD and more.
We cover the by-law amendment to standardize procedures for replacing vacant legislative seats, another one that would have made the loser pay court costs in a suit with the Party, and still another amendment that dealt with giving votes on the Executive Committee to various organizations.
Oh, and one of Red Maryland's own has spawned an offspring.
