AUDIO BOOK READING chp 4 BREAKING THE CHAINS, WM.L.KATZ

Jenny Smith Fletcher was the daughter of W. H. Smith, founder of Nicodemus. She was the first postmistress and schoolteacher in Nicodemus, Kansas. She was also one of the original charter members of the A.M.E. Church.
Formerly enslaved African Americans left Kentucky in organized colonies to experience freedom in the "promised land" of Kansas.  Nicodemus represents the involvement of African Americans in the westward expansion and settlement of the Great Plains. It is the oldest and only remaining Black settlement west of the Mississippi River.

AUDIO BOOK READING - BREAKING THE CHAINS, Week 4 Chapter 4 Resistance

Although slave revolts constituted the most dramatic form of slave resistance, they were by no means the only method of reprisal. Arson proved to be an exceptionally effective and consequently frequent form of retaliation. In 1795, slave-set fires in Charleston, South Carolina, prompted the governor to declare a day of fasting. More arson there in 1804 resulted in the destruction of six ships and hundreds of homes. The problem of arson was so widespread that, in 1820, the American Fire Insurance Company of Philadelphia stopped issuing policies in the South.

Assaults and attempts at assassination were also common. In 1740, accusations that slaves were attempting to poison New York City's water supply resulted in widespread arrests and executions. Poison attempts were so frequent they were even referred to in the lyrics of at least one slave song. Vandalism and destruction of crops were also regular occurrences.

Execution in Oklahoma...it only takes a minute or 30 of agony and you're gone

    in Current Events

Your host calls into the stupidity of the death penalty and the even stupider ways to execute those who are REALLY bad.  Minimum wage, we don't need no damn minimum wage...learn to live in poverty, it's the new American way.  There's no money for schools, poverty and urban blight are everywhere, the state and federal gov't refuse to step in and help struggling urban schools, de jure' segregation exist in most schools and it's all the teacher's fault that schools are failing.  Makes sense to me...NOT!  That was the week that was...a reprisal of the absurd, stupid and downright ignorant of the week.

    Thanksgiving or Moor Mass Killing

    in Social Networking

Look up the murdered and unarmed Pequot Nation (1634 – 1638) ambused by armed Albion European Catholic puritan/protestant colonizers of Massachusetts Bay, Plymouth, and Saybrook.

The free aboriginal Narragansett and Mohegan Moors labeled as indian were butchered, and hundreds taken as prisoners and sold into slavery to England and the West Indies in a war that decimated the communities that are now called by the European name of Southern New England that consists of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Connecticut in the northeastern corner of the North America/Amexem.

In 1637 Moors were gathered for the annual Green Corn Festival (Fasting to Fast once the Corn is Ripe for Harvest), and before the celebration began - during the predawn hours while everyone was still asleep; Albion European English and Dutch mercenaries surrounded and shot dead and clubbed the Moors to death. The men, women and children that survived the slaughter were buried alive.

The next day the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony declared "A Day Of Thanksgiving" because 700 unarmed men, women and children had been murdered.

SO WHY IN ALL SOUNDNESS OF MIND - ARE YOU CELEBRATING!

Why do you continue to feed this atrocious monster by support in buying flesh and bread to participate in the gluttony where the real celebration is the Albion's escape from reprisal of the atrocious deeds against your own people – because out of ignorance - you go along with it!

This day should be a day of anguish and grieving with a loud demand for restitution; reparations; and the return of our lands.

The Holy Prophet told the Moors, “Children, you are at home, and the European is 3,000 miles from home, and he is going to have to take some water.”

Giving - From the Heart and not the Head

    in Lifestyle

It appears that we are finally at the end of this long and drawn out drama. As we have anticipated this abundance for some time, many of us have spent considerable time and energy mapping out the extent to which, and to whom, we will share our blessings. But, arguably, the more important consideration is the "Why" of our sharing plans.

If, for each person, church, charity or cause that you intend to support monetarily, if you were to ask yourself "Why do I choose to provide money to this particular person/church/charity/cause?", examining each one very deeply, the answers might surprise you. For many that are willing to be truly honest with themselves, the answers may be guilt, sense of obligation, habit, fear of reprisal if I don’t, wanting to be the hero, wanting to be the saviour, wanting to end suffering, etc.

These, for the most part, are "Head" decisions which will be greatly influenced by our past experiences and woundings. Tune in as we delve into this topic and discuss how making these decisions from the "Heart" rather than the "Head" can totally transform the experience, and the outcome, of your giving. You are not only giving money, you are passing on the consciousness behind your giving as well. Join us for an enlightening discussion.

    4. According to The Times of Israel, at the start of talks with the visiting US chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the threat of Iran attaining nuclear weapons "dwarfs" the other security challenges facing the nation.

    5. According to AFP, Supporters of deposed Islamist president Mohamed Morsi torched three churches in central Egypt on Wednesday in reprisal attacks as police dispersed demonstrations in Cairo. The assailants threw firebombs at a church in Sohag, a city with a large community of Coptic Christians, causing it to burn down.
