Message by Bro. Fannin. Repent of your sins to be saved? what does the bible say?
Mat 21 :32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him
Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Act 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus
Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Three hundred and sixty degrees of repentance is the act of remorse for our sin and the turning away from sin and learning to do good.
GOD delights in hearing the remorseful cries of sinners. The prayer of repentance is surely acceptable to GOD. But repentance involves not only
for sin, but turning away from sin and learning to fo good. True reopentance produces a change in character and behavior.
If we fail to change our character and correct behavior we hve missed the whole purpose of prayer. Cold, formal prayer may exist side by side with
bade behavior, but such praying is not prayer at all. Prayer must change the individual praying. Join us for live prayer at 6:00 AM, MON.-Fri. Dial 714.459.3983.

One of the most serious heresies facing the Christian church today is the "repent of sins" heresy, a.k.a. "Lordship Salvation". Ray Comfort preaches works-salvation (link mentioned in sermon) - http://www.livingwaters.com/save-your... (end of paragraph five) - "Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent), and your faith must be in Jesus Christ alone." The institution of Marriage is as old as time itself, but never has our concept of marriage been as challenged as it is today. With lawmakers and politicians bickering over what defines a “Traditional” marriage; many people feel the need to express their view of what a marriage is to them. Some see it as a sacred institution created by God with fixed and unbreakable commandments. While others see marriage as an ever evolving partnership between a person and whomever or whatever they choose to love. With so many social stigmas surrounding marriage, it is little wonder that many couples choose to opt out altogether. Choosing instead to live together, even raise children together, without officially tying the knot. Those who choose this path of co-habitation have strong beliefs concerning both the pros and cons of their decisions. But what does the Bible say concerning this ever growing trend. And have we finally seen the end of Marriage as defined by God in favor or Marriage defined by society? Join us today for another installment of “Repentance is the Key” as we search the scriptures for the answer to this growing dilemma.

Repentance is a key word in the Bible, but what role should it play in this age of grace? What does repentance mean? How is one supposed to repent? Do we need to repent in order to be saved? What do we need to repent of?
This is an issue which brings about many questions and sometimes heated discussion. Let's talk repentance on this issue of Ask the Theologain, hosted by Dr. Randy White
The life of discipleship is a life of repentance and faith. But biblical repentance is an often misunderstood concept. On one hand, some may think repentance is nothing but apologizing and continuing in sin, but on the other hand, some live in constant fear that their repentance is not good enough for God.
Join us as we explore answers to repentance and faith and how we can live in accordance to God’s glorious grace.
It is our prayer that you be Spirit-filled and blessed by what you will discover on this unique edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE.

Tonight's Special Guest: Roger Record of the band, Holy Rain
Holy Rain began 10 years ago at Damascus Road Community Church (DRCC) when Pastor Roger Record felt the calling to gather together a group of talented musicians to use their gifts for something bigger. God has blessed DRCC with singers, songwriters, and musicians that desire to have deep, intimate worship and they found that when they combine their gifts for the glory of God and leave their ego’s at the door, they create something much bigger than they could ever have been on their own. Over the past 10 years, Holy Rain has produced three CD’s and led an annual night of worship combining both corporate worship and original songs for members of the community and congregation. Another deep desire of Holy Rain is to look after the orphan (James 1:27). 100% of the proceeds from their albums go towards supporting orphans and missions projects in countries all around the world including Honduras, Nicaragua, India and South Africa. Worship of the living God and serving the least of these is our passion.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
