*Repent-Say Sorry-Turn Away From Your Sins*

    in Prayer

Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light;in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. 1John 1:5-9

Beloved join me in Prayer this evening as we Confess, Repent and seek the LORD's forgiveness.

King David says it best in Psalm 19:

"Cleanse me thou of my hidden faults"

Beloved we need not judge each other because we all fall short of God's glory, yet His

word says He's faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteosness.

I am so grateful Beloved we serve a Merciful God, who hears us when we "Call"

Reminds me of Jesus, Romans 10:13 says "Whoever calls on the name of the LORD,

    shall be Saved."

Have you called on the LORD's name today beloved?

I know today was a day I felt like I messed up...yet I had to get right...

Repentance is the Key: Preacher's Daughters

    in Religion

The Holy Bible instructs us to “Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. But when a child “DOES” go astray, who or what is to blame? This is a question heavily pondered on the new Lifetime reality TV program “Preachers Daughters”. This program chronicles the lives of several preachers, pastors and spiritual leaders and their unsuccessful attempt to raise daughters in their respective faiths. Also profiled are their blatantly rebellious daughters who are all too eager to flaunt their lifestyle of drug use, underage drinking, lewdness, lasciviousness and fornication. But in a world where temptation is quite literally at our fingertips, is it realistic to ask our children to abstain sin? And at a time when children are encouraged to embrace their own individuality, is it still an acceptable practice for a parent to impose their religious views onto the child? Join us today for another installment of “Repentance is the Key” as we use the teachings of the Holy Bible to answer these and many more questions - reproving the children of a wicked and perverse generation!

When I Repent I Mean It From My Heart

    in Christianity

Have you every did some thing that was wrong you knew it was wrong and you never stop to make it right. Every now and then it comes to your thoughts you push it out of your mind and keep going but this wrong doing of yours keeps coming back and it is coming back to your mind more and more. Once you repent and mean it from your heart with all sincerity go back and make it right if you can. The thought of it will go away and if it comes back smile and remind yourself you asked for forgiveness and keep it moving and each time if it comes back repeat the same pocess.

Repentance is the Key: Shacking up and Playing House

    in Religion

The institution of Marriage is as old as time itself, but never has our concept of marriage been as challenged as it is today. With lawmakers and politicians bickering over what defines a “Traditional” marriage; many people feel the need to express their view of what a marriage is to them. Some see it as a sacred institution created by God with fixed and unbreakable commandments. While others see marriage as an ever evolving partnership between a person and whomever or whatever they choose to love. With so many social stigmas surrounding marriage, it is little wonder that many couples choose to opt out altogether. Choosing instead to live together, even raise children together, without officially tying the knot. Those who choose this path of co-habitation have strong beliefs concerning both the pros and cons of their decisions. But what does the Bible say concerning this ever growing trend. And have we finally seen the end of Marriage as defined by God in favor or Marriage defined by society? Join us today for another installment of “Repentance is the Key” as we search the scriptures for the answer to this growing dilemma.

Reconciliation is a difficult task when unforgiveness and hidden sin take cover beneath the backdrop of offences.   Many times, much of our intolerance for the faults of others are a mere reflection of the guilt and shame harbored by our own.  Is there a way to heal and mend relationships that have been torn apart due to unforgiveness?  How can we truly seek to be reconciled when these issues are not addressed?  What does the word of God have to say about getting there?
