Four Remarkable Filmmakers & Their New Movies

    in Movies

Filmmakers Vohn Regensburger, Wash Westmoreland, Richard Glatzer, and Chris Bruno talk about their new movies: A Remarkable Life and The Last of Robin Hood. Regensburger is the writer/director of the first film, which stars Bruno, who also helped with the writing and served as one of the producers. Glatzer and Westmoreland are the writers/directors of the second offering to be discussed. Film critic Mack Bates will co-host.

A Remarkable Life tells the story of a man who finds his life falling apart and is forced to examine his identity, his manhood and his sense of self. Lenny (played by Bruno) faces loss of his job, a son with Asperger's Syndrome, and a wife who's fallen in love with the son's female doctor. It's a highly entertaining film - but one that gives us a lot to think about. Director Regensburger also composed the impressive music score, just as he did for his first film, Last of the Romantics.

The Last of Robin Hood  follows Errol Flynn's scandalous affair with a star-struck teenage girl. Kevin Kline plays Flynn in his later years -- not the heartthrob from The Adventures of Robin Hood. Dakota Fanning and Susan Sarandon play the young girl and her mother who enables the affair, respectively. This fascinating film deals with fame and the high price it can exact. Glatzer and Westmoreland have also written and directed Quinceanera, Pedro, The Fluffer and Grief.

Six Steps To Building A Remarkable Workplace

    in Business

The TalentCulture #TChat Show is back live on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, from 7-8 pm ET (4-5 pm PT).

Last week we talked about the three elements of a clear and compelling business vision, and this week we're going to talk about the six steps to building a remarkable workplace.

Nice segue, don't you think? It's the people that guide and propel the workplace, right?

If it were only so easy. From this week's guest's experience opening a shop a month as part of her organization’s UK start-up, she found that 20% of strategies lead to 80% of retention and profit and none of them are vague platitudes like "be nice to your people."

No, they are all practical, immediately applicable, step-by-step processes, and we'll tackle all six tonight on the show.

Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-founders and co-hosts Meghan M. Biro and Kevin W. Grossman as we learn about about the six steps to building a remarkable workplace with this week’s guest: Mandy Johnson, best-selling business author, active speaker, advisor and executive educator.

    Jesus - Pagan Priest King

    in Radio

On Thursday August 27th, 2015 the Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon will present a discussion on the theory that the Biblical Jesus of Nazareth, grandson of King Herod the Great was in fact not only the King of the Jews but through marriage to Mary Magdalene, a Phoenician princess and priestess of the Goddess, could claim to be King of all Israel. The new Melchizedek. Frater Thabion (Poke) will again be joined by
Biblical scholar Frater Solomon (Mike) in explaining this remarkable and exciting story. We will cite The Nassaene document of Hippolytus, The Lost Gospel, by Jacobovici and Wilson, Robert Graves' King Jesus, and Joseph Raymond's Jesus the Herodian Messiah. This is the beginning of the Holy Grail mystery. Join us for an hour of amazing revelations.

And she shares these experiences in the book. But mostly she has culled the essences of her workshops, working with women around the world who share these same frustrations and anxieties. Women who give until all the life juices are drained.
