Like many gifted singers, Denise honed her gifts within the walls of her church, Greater Apostolic Love & Faith Tabernacle. She began singing at the tender age of 3 and took to the drums shortly thereafter. She played and belted out songs week after week at church until a connection with a fellow singer opened up a door to sing background vocals for Alicia Keys. The dream job saw her traveling the world from 2003-2006. Although Denise greatly appreciated the opportunities being a background vocalist offered her, she could not ignore the calling of the Lord on her life and in 2005, she walked away from a life of fame to dedicate her musical gifts entirely to God. As a former background vocalist for multiple GRAMMY Award Winner Alicia Keys, Denise shared the stage with renowned mainstream artists such as Quincy Jones, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Usher and dozens of other legendary artists. Her breathtaking vocals can be heard on Keys’ albums, The Diary of Alicia Keys and MTV Unplugged and on John Legend’s Wake Up. Denise has also been seen on national television shows such as Ellen, Oprah, The David Letterman Show, The Jay Leno Show, the GRAMMY Awards, The MTV Awards, The Billboard Music Awards and others. In addition, Denise Renee is an actress and has been featured in local plays in her hometown of New Haven, ConnecticutThe new Dreambridge Recordings Artist is excited about her upcoming project slated for a fall release. Simply put, Bathsheba Smithen is a quadruple threat. A lyricist, educator, recording artist and motivational speaker, Bathsheba is gifted beyond her years. Her life’s story reads like a Lifetime Movie, but she’s taken the trials and learned from them. She’s turned her struggles into strengths and found out who she is
in the process. Most importantly, she’s on a mission to inspire, educate and empower those who tussle with their identity unaware of the greatness God has placed within them. Using faith as the backdrop and music as the soundtrack, Bathsheba released her first recording and accompanying concept music video called “Let’s Get It Rockin’”. A mixture of rap and what Bathsheba calls “neo rock”, the track captures the motivation she wants to pass along to all within earshot. Clearly, a nimble poet, Bathsheba Smithen is set to change the world with her gift for words and passion for change. She says, “I have seen that many people don’t know who they are. Many are lost and operating out of the fact they don’t know who they are. It took me a long time to navigate my own complicated family situation and find myself. In my music, I aim to talk about the root of people’s identity issues by highlighting the symptoms.” Through her music, Bathsheba desires to enlighten people and help them see the beauty God created when He made them.
Born and raised in the Bahamas, Chico Johnson relocated to America where he spent a considerable amount of time learning the art of music. Born into a musical family, Chico was exposed to music from a young age and by taking influences from all genres, he created his own unique style and sound. Chico spends much of his time traveling between Australia, America and the Bahamas with his family and is now one of the most talented and versatile artists on the Urban scene in Melbourne today!
Chico first fell in love with music at the age of 4 when his mother introduced him to the likes of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and Percy Sledge. Since then he has been inspired by artists such as Boyz II Men, Tank, Joe, Musiq Soul Child, Mary J Blidge, Donell Jones and all of the Motown artists from the 60's through to the 80's. He has now been professionally recording for 10 years and his dream is to touch the world and make a difference, especially amongst the youth, through his music and his Production and Charity companies “CheekyMac Productions” & "CheekyMac Charities".
Chico is proficient in all Urban genres. He can mix a set to comprise of R&B, Soul, Rap and Gospel songs If simplicity is what you seek, he can stick to just one genre and still put on a solid set each with an incredible message. Keisha Dreams was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts as the youngest of eleven children. She is also grateful mother of two beautiful children, and serves in her local church in several departments. She is also the granddaughter of the late Reverend Herbert Young Sr. who pastored two churches in South Carolina in his lifetime.
She has overcome many obstacles in her life including being the victim of domestic violence. She was abused physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and even by the abuser trying to use the legal system to attempt to cause harm, that could have lead her in jail. However she kept her faith in God, God spared her life, and she continues to live in her freedom.
Keisha Dreams didn't think she could obey God by becoming a gospel artist, and so she ran away from her calling for a time after feeling incapable and unqualified to work for the creator. With a new start and recognizing God's mercy through her circumstances, she began to obey the Lord with a new zeal. She is now a multi-faceted artist and entrepreneur who has released three projects, her debut recording album "The Promise" and first book "The Cost of Disobedience," and children's book, "The Promise."
Keisha Dreams gives God all of the credit for her success, because it was God who gives her the ability and the resources to accomplish His mission for her life. She also loves to go out into the streets, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She desires to bring encouragement to all and be a light to those in dark places. Her album "The Promise" is an inspirational album with an encouraging message that only God can provide. Her single, " Teach Me How to Love," will encourage you to love unconditionally and forgive your enemies. Keisha Dream is running toward all that God has for her and hopes this album inspires you to do the same.
