WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN & MAN? IT IS JUST A PLURAL DIFFERENCE? WHO ARE THE REAL MEN ON EARTH AND WHO ARE THE MEN? WHO WILL DEBATE THE USE OF SOLAR ENERGY? IS THERE ANY GOOD THAT CAN COME OF SOLAR ENERGY USE? WE WILL DISCUSS THIS TOPIC TONIGHT AT 9:30 ON STATE OF MENTELLECT RADIO (BLOGTALK) FEAT THE INTEL.NUBEN MENKARAYZZ/MFA
Your always questioning host decided to once again attempt to find out what makes me, me. Why am I this craven, evil liberal who believes in the rights of people, universal healthcare, a living wage, that immigrants are not "border crisis", that people shouldn't go to bed hungry, that great schools are a good thing and that our climate needs to be kept healthy? I begin to search for the answer to my quest to become a conservative at the bequest of all those who denegrate liberals as somehow being retarded because we believe in humanity and decency in a highly complex world. Yes, I want to become a hateful, war-mongering, vitriol spewing, self-righteous, lying ass acting like a pestulant 2nd grader on the playground...who happens to be white fat and a bully (Chris Christies' childhood!). Change is good.
This morning we will talk about last night!....... John you look so mad! All night you looked mad! MUST be things are looking good, things are getting better, 6 million private sector Jobs created, the War is coming to an end. Sorry John :) The President has a 60% approval rating yesterday, today it must be higher!
What did you think about President Obama's State of the Union Speech last night. Did he set forth the important issues of the day? What do you think he left out? What about the points Florida Senator Marco Rubio raised in the Republican response? Or Ron Paul in the Tea Party Response? What would you have added if you were President Obama or Senator Rubio or Paul? Join in the discussion. Call in at 347-884-9261, listen live, or check out the archive.
Live Chat: The State of the Union. I will read your comments in the morning!
On this episode:
A legislative audit shows the Department of Human Resources spent money it did not have and generally cooked the books to cover their misfeasance. We'll give you the details. (H/T Maryland Reporter)
A few thoughts on Red Maryland's 7th Anniversary.
As we predicted, Larry Hogan was cleared of the false accusations that he violated state campaign finance laws.
NPR talk radio show host Diane Rehm is a strong advocate for physician assisted suicide. We'll discuss and I share some rebuttal from NRO's Wesley Smith.
We love the English language and want to make sure it is spoken and written correctly. Our friends at the CIA agree and have some of their own rules. I will share.
In this episode, Sacerdotus speaks on a video with a round table discussion featuring Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris and the late Christopher Hitchens. These men are described as the "Four Horsemen of Atheism."
In the video, the atheists speak on religion, God and their views regarding them. They begin the discussion by claiming that religious people do not like to have their beliefs criticized. Moreover, they discuss the idea that an atheistic approach to religious ideas is interpreted as rude or offensive.
Sacerdotus speaks on this video and criticizes the opinions of the "four horsemen" by showing how their poor choice of words and lack of how to engage people is what causes offense to others. He also points out the ignorance and misconceptions made by the atheist men and offers a rebuttal.
Well, I feel like I'm Rush Limbaugh (yeah, like I have his audience or money) in saying that because I know I've heard him say more than once that the narrative those in the media and those in the Democratic Party would like for us to believe is that everything about the economy and the country is the new normal and that's not going to change.
Well lo and behold, the NYT comes out with an article or a column that says that basically because GDP growth has been a consistent 2% or so almost every quarter, that's to be celebrated because it's consistent and the new normal we might say. It even pushes a message that it's good for the economy and good for the country.
I'll counter that with however many of 27 points I can get to or feel are vital to bring up that are huge red flags for our economy according to Michael Snyder.
Also, I'll cover at the top of the show a rebuttal from a coalition of 15 scientists, climatologists, and other experts that rips apart the claims of Obama's latest National Climate Assessment.
That's today at 4:30 Eastern and archived for your later listening pleasure.
So recently there were podcasts that pretty much had certain individuals trash everyone, and instead of calling into theirs, and keeping the drama going, I figured I was going to do my own rebuttal here...in the absolute best way I know how, because ...it sums up how seriously I take the matters, and how I feel about the entire thing.
To sum it up if you want to not waste your time,.....it pretty much shows that I could care less. Why?
I don't want that stroke or heart attack.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
