With the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens set to play one another on Monday Night Football, we have to preview the show, right? Naturally. So this episode is actually about the Ravens. Host Jess Root brings on Matthew Stevens, lead editor for Baltimore Beatdown, the SB Nation Baltimore Ravens site, to talk about the Ravens and their tough start to the season.
We find out the Ravens had huge expectations, with aspirations of competing for the Super Bowl. Then things fell apart with key injuries.
He also tells us that quarterback Joe Flacco is not elite (gasp), but he is really good. And strangely enough, with one of the best running backs in the league, a top 10 QB, a great run-stopping defense and a bunch of sacks, they can't win. But their close games are because they do things well.
Stevens tells us how the Ravens can win and how they can lose.
Make sure to have a listen and to head to Revenge of the Birds for more Cardinals coverage.
The Arizona Cardinals are set to take on NFC West rivals at home on Sunday. They face the San Francisco 49ers, who looked surprisingly good in Week 1 and then kind of bad in Week 2. To give some perspective on the 49ers, host Jess Root brings on David Fucillo (Fooch) from SB Nation's Niners Nation to give us a look into the Niners 2015 team.
Find out about how a Jim Tomsula 49ers team looks. Hear about how Colin Kaepernick looks after two games in this season and whether Kurt Warner's tutelage has been of any help. What are expectations for the Niners this year? Where are the favorable matchups and not so favorable matchups for the Niners this week.
Be sure to join Jeff Hartman and Lance Williams as they talk about everything related to the Pittsburgh Steelers as they recap the Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots and look ahead to the upcoming game against the San Francisco 49ers. The guys will talk about a myriad of topics surrounding the upcoming game. Some of those will be:
- 3 offensive keys vs. the 49ers defense
- 3 defensive keys vs. the 49ers offense
- What the point spread tells us about the upcoming game
- and so much more

We start things off today with a small post-game for the Thursday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers (3:15-13:00). We talk about the game, the keys to Seattle's win and to San Francisco's loss. We also wonder if the Seahawks are back? Or if this was just a case of them playing a bad team. There's also a lot to think about with Collin Kapernick for the 49ers as well.
After that, we move onto our NFL Week 7 Preview (13:00-73:15 or 13 mins to 1 hour and 13 mins,) where we discuss every single game that is happening on Sunday and the Monday night too. This is pretty much the best part of our show, so you don't want to miss the NFL Week 7 Preview.
Not only do we make game predictions, but we ask a question about every team, play games such as Fact or Fiction, Over/Under, and more.
Sean, Gary, and Randy make some College Football Week 8 picks (73:15-78:45 or 1 hour and 13 mins- 1 hour and 18 mins) and then the show ends with "what to watch for this weekend. (78:45-End or 1 hour and 18 mins-End")
If you are going to be watching the Sunday afternoon "Game of the Week" between the Dallas Cowboys and NY Giants, mute the guys on FOX and listen to Sean and Brandon Biskobing broadcast the game over on Rabble.TV by going here: https://www.rabble.tv/broadcast/562442c86e20da4857d6ad90/view
Sean, Gary, and Randy start things off by doing a short post-game for the Monday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens vs. Arizona Cardinals (2:45-10:45)
This one came down to the wire, but it was a Joe Flacco interception that sealed the deal. Now at 1-6 for the season, is it time to stick a fork in the Ravens? Could teams now be just as worried about that Cardinals defense as they are the offense? We discuss these questions and more.
Then we get into our full NFL Week 7 Recap (10:45-85:45, or 10:45- 1 hour and 25 mins) as we go through every game talking about each team, who looks good, who looks bad, and also answer some lingering questions as well.
Randy takes everyone through the big results in College Football Week 8 and we head back to the NFL side of things to finish out with Gary's Top 5 Fantasy Pick-ups for Week 8, Our Top 5 Power Rankings, and the Player of the Week. (85:45-End or 1 hour and 25 mins-End)
The boys cackle at the silliest special teams play in the history of football from the Pats-Colts game (even though they still lost the pick), as well as praise the Panthers, marvel at the Broncos, and scoff at the Ravens, and in Dre's case, curse at the Cards and Packers. Then they preview the Thursday nighter between a reeling Seattle squad and a possibly resurgent San Francisco team.

We start things today with a breakdown of the Thursday Night Football Game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. We are joined by a fan of each team, in Mike Mitchell for the Steelers and Robert Hagan for the Ravens. We ask them how well do they think the Steelers will play going forward with Michael Vick? Can the Ravens make the playoffs after the big win? And a whole lot more.
After that, we go through all of the games happening on Sunday with our NFL Week 4 Preview, including the first London, England game of the season between the NY Jets and Miami Dolphins, which we will be broadcasting live on Rabble.TV (you can either go to the website or download the app on your IOS or Android device.) Search "W2M Network" and you can find the game. We then end our NFL Week 4 Preview with discussion on what could happen in the Monday Night Football game between the Seahawks and Lions.
In between all that, we make predictions for each game, play games such as "Fact of Fiction, Over/Under, pick Fantasy Players," and more. It all turns out to be a throrough overview when it is all said and done.
Randy then takes everyone through the big games happening in College Football Week 5 and the show ends on the "what to watch for" segment.
Did you know there is a W2M Network Facebook Page? If you “like” the page, you will get any announcements about the podcast, anything the guys write, or other various things as well.

Jay and Dre dig into how screwed the Cowboys, Saints and Steelers are, how screwed the Dolphins, Ravens and Lions might be, how revived the Colts, Eagles and Seahawks looked, and how awesome the Patriots, Cardinals, Bengals, and Broncos may or may not be. Then the guys choose sides for the Thursday night AFC North brawl between Joe Flacco's Baltimore bunch and Michael Vick's Pittsburgh crew.
