LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily Independent political analysis from the Latino perspective. Today's guest was Raul Torres . Mr. Raul Torres, CPA , has been an elected representative from Corpus Christi and although he was eminently qualified for Texas Comptroller the political machine in Texas forced him out for another more popular but unqualified candidate. His insight into Texas politics and Latino issues in Texas is extremely valuable and I'm very grateful he called the show to share his insight. Also, he appreciates the purpose and importance of Latino Talk Texas . I am very grateful for that also. On the show today I pointed out how, in the news, many of the predictions and analysis I have made during the past few months have been proved correct. For example, I predicted that Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram in Nigeria would not comply with any agreement and the news today confirms that. I predicted that the Tea parties would hate Jeb Bush for the same reasons that I like him. I also predicted, recently, that Obama will NOT ease deportations practices after the election especially if Democrats do badly. He won't "reward" Latinos for that. Raul Torres and I discuss Greg Abbott's laudable efforts to win Pro-Life Latino votes in the Rio Grande Valley but I lament that he is the ONLY one doing so. Torres confirms my observation that the Democrats take Latinos for granted and that the Republicans, otherwise, don't care for the Latino vote. Great show today!!

The US proposal to relax restrictions on Cuba has been controversial. Some believe that exchanges with Cuba will get the Castro regime to open up its society and bring freedom to the island.
Others believe that notion is nonsense.
The issue has divided Cuban Americans, largely along generatioinal lines, with younger people supporting the move and older Americans opposing it. What does the future hold and will the embargo be lifted soon?
The RINO Hour of Power, with your host Rick Moran, will examine the issue from every angle with author and radio host Silvio Canto, an American who escaped Cuba with his family shortly after Castro took power. Co-hosting the show will be Fausta Wertz, who runs the popular Latin America blog Fausta's Blog.
The show streams live from 8:00 - 9:00 PM Eastern time. A podcast will be available shortly after the end of the show.
Welcome to the Seriouside of the jril show. This morning we will discuss the following topics:
SEGMENT 1: IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?
President Raul Castro declared victory for the Cuban Revolution on Saturday in a wide-ranging speech, thanking US President Obama for “a new chapter” while also reaffirming that restored relations with the United States did not mean the end of Communist rule in Cuba. Was this a good idea by the POTUS?
SEGMENT 2: IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF TIME…
Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown. We knew this would eventually happen. We will talk about it.
SEGMENT 3: PROTECTING THEIR OWN!
A new bill passed last week in Illinois would make it a felony to secretly tape any “private conversations," with steeper punishments for those surreptitiously recording the police. Critics of the proposed law claim it would scare citizens from recording interactions with law enforcement, following a number of high-profile police killings caught on camera. Is this true? We will discuss!
2 BANDS 1 DAY ROCK STARS

Jeff LaBar (Cinderella) Guitar
Tony Franklin (The Firm,Blue Murder,Whitesnake) Bass
Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot) Drums. Second Act Brief Bio
Miss Crazy's sound is a collection of the best rock bands of the 80's, part Def Leppard, part AC/DC, part Cinderella, part Ratt, all of what real rock fans loved about the music that ruled the airwaves over two decades ago. Long Description Total Hard Rock!! Bio A generation ago, historic rock artists like Alice Cooper, David Bowie, and KISS showed your parents that they were not living in the 50's or 60's anymore. These legacy bands incorporated stunning imagery and stage theatrics to elevate the standards of rock performance worldwide Your parents might compare Miss Crazy to their old favorites like Def Leppard, AC/DC, Kix, or Cinderella. However, kids today won't have anything to compare Miss Crazy to! No other major band today sounds like Miss Crazy. Act 2 Dark Horse Flyer New album "Breakaway"
The band Dark Horse Flyer, is the tale of friends that back in the 1970s had a promising band, which flamed out after a grueling period of poor music business practices and mismanagement. Dark Horse Flyer is Don Mularz (lead vocals, guitar), Scott Lane (guitar, vocals), John Tillman (guitar), Richard Taylor (bass) Raul Hernandez (drums, percussion) and Bob Taylor (keyboards). Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® and fan-favorite country music artist Neal McCoy announce the upcoming CD release of Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride: Deluxe Edition, which will be available on Nov. 3rd exclusively at all 633 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® locations and online at crackerbarrel.com.
Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride: Deluxe Edition contains two exclusive bonus tracks not found on the original edition that was released in 2013 by Slate Creek Records. The album contains Neal’s versions of 13 songs made famous by the legendary Pride. Highlights include Neal performing duets with three of country music’s greatest voices. He sings “Roll On Mississippi” with Trace Adkins, “I’m Just Me” with Raul Malo, and Pride’s signature song (which earned songwriter Ben Peters a GRAMMY Award in 1972 for Best Country song), “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’” with Darius Rucker.
“I wanted to open people’s eyes about Charley and remind them of all that he has accomplished,” says Neal. “I thought the best way to do that was to just put his music out there and let people hear what great country music sounds like."
In 1981, Charley Pride was introduced to Neal after the younger singer won a nightclub talent contest in Dallas and soon hired the newcomer to be his opening act at his concerts. Neal continued to work for Pride until 1986 when he left to pursue a recording contract. Neal's hits include “No Doubt About It” , “Wink" and "The Shake." He is currently touring with Blake Shelton on the “Ten Times Crazier" Tour."
