After the city council for Inglewood, California had their vote on the City of Champions Revitalization Initiative last week, we have on Andy Hogan, the founder of the Facebook group Bring Back the Los Angeles Rams (over 48,000 members strong https://www.facebook.com/losangelesrams) to detail what happened and what's next. We'll also have a discussion about why up and coming football stars should consider pursuing their career in another sport based on the early returns of the NFL free agency season so far. Los Angeles Lakers and Lebron James talk as well as much, much more.
Ben Moore of PantherTalk.com is joined by Dave Cohen the play-by-play voice of the Georgia State Panthers. We talk about the season as a whole, "The Shot" against Baylor and comparing this weekend to the last NCAA run in 2001.
It's time for another Pitt-focused installment of City of Champions Radio, as host Matt Gajtka welcomes staff writer Brett Tunno to discuss the Panthers men's basketball team. It's been a down year by Jamie Dixon's standards, but Pitt still has a shot at squeezing into the NCAA tournament for the third straight season - and 13th time in 14 years. Who has impressed and who has disappointed for these Panthers, who have rallied to win six of eight and have three regular-season games remaining before the crucible of the ACC tournament.
Gary Jeter will be on for the second time in two weeks, last week he talked about his Uncle Bob Jeter former Packer legend. This week he is coming on the show to talk about his career. Gary won a national championship while attending USC, later he was the 5th player selected in the first round of the 1977 draft. Gary was one of the top defensive lineman in the NFL for a decade and played with the likes of Lawrence Taylor and Eric Dickerson.
Can the NFL legally stop the Rams from moving to the Los Angeles?
Plus, should the Washington Redskins change their name?
What will be the out come over deflate gate?

Drafted in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, Gary went on to be one of the top Defensive ends from 1977-1989 totaling 78 sacks and winning the 1985 NFL Comeback Player of the year. We will also discuss Gary's Uncle Bob Jeter who was a starting Cornerback on the Legendary Lomabardi Packers teams of the 60's, Bob was also the 1959 Rose Bowl MVP.
We will continue our NFL Draft prep 2 a days with TB and Carolina, and we will also cover the NFL trades this week including the Buffalo Bills, and Peyton Mannings new deal.
Last season the Rams went undefeated and capture a championship with a victory over the AFC champs the Houston Texans. This year everyone is shooting for him, so lets see how he does. The NFC West got even tougher with the additions of the new Cards coach who use to be the Bills, and a new Niners coach who use to be the Packers, so making it to the playoffs is going to be tough, and Seattle is impressive as well. The AFC west is a monster as well with the Broncos trying to win another division title, but he has the Chiefs gunning for him, the Chargers are tough, and the Raiders are feisty. There are other teams and other division that we will cover never segment, but sit back and enjoy the fun.
Tonight on Beyond the Veil, we will be speaking with the Dallas Chairman of the New Black Panthers Party Bobby Johnson. In light of recent and current events, we have seen attacks against the New Black Panthers from different media sources. It is the view of Anonymous North Texas that it is imperative that all activists begin working together and setting minor differences aside. At the end of the day we are all fighting the same battles from our own perspectives, and the rights and freedoms that we stand for are deserved by all.
Join us at 7pm central as we set the record straight.
We will be talking sports and having fun doing it. Expected to be joined by Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis who will discuss his season and give his thoughts on the upcoming Super Bowl. Also, Minnesota Vikings WR Charles Johnson will join us to discuss his season, Super Bowl and more. Hall of Famer Willie Roaf will join to give his thoughts on "Deflategate", Super Bowl and more. Talking all things Super Bowl! Who will win? What are the keys to the game? We have you covered!
