Generation No More - Talking Sexual Assault w/ Natasha Hagan
'Generation No More'- This week of programming is dedicated to SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH!!
We start off this week of special programming with Natasha Hagan!! This amazing voice is making waves across the country. She has become a fierce fighter for RAINN and now is the online manager for TEAM STRICK. Her own history of Sexual Assault and the support of the team of counselors at RAINN have given this special survivor the courage to not only speak out, but to be a driving force in the Sexual Assault Awareness mission. Along with KaDee Strickland; Natasha and her devotion have organized many events. Coming up on April 20th will be the online TEAM STRICK mission to support those who are fighting back against the RAPE that has changed their lives.
Its a great pleasure to welcome Natasha and her non-stop efforts in the RAINN SUPPORTERS DAY, RAINN MAKER PAGE CREATION, TEAM STRICK ONLINE AWARENESS EVENT and her devotion to the online Facebook support group RAINN SUPPORTERS.
Natasha is an excellent voice with a highly motivated devotion to bringing advocates, orgs, foundations, survivors and those who love us; all together to support each other and bring the facts of SEXUAL ASSAULT forward. Every TWO MINUTES another person is a victim of SEXUAL ASSAULT. Is this the reality of our country today? How can we join forces to have these attacks prosecuted and give survivors support rather than turn a blind eye to the ugliness of this crime?
Let's talk SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH throughout the week of April 8th - AprTags: Sexual Assault Awareness Month Natasha Hagan RAINN Team Strick Awareness Day KaDee Strickland

Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence in Indian Country
WnT Board Member and Vice President Rebecca Balog will join President Billie Fidlin to discuss domestic violence and sexual assault & recovery in Indian Country.
APRIL IS SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2013/03/29/presidential-proclamation-national-sexual-assault-awareness-and-preventi
It is estimated that 1 of every 6 women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime, according to the Rape Abuse Incest National Network (RAINN). This number is about 1 in 33 for American men. Approximately 15% of sexual assault and rape victims are under age 12. Domestic violence is the leading cause of injuries to women age fifteen to forty-four, more common than auto accidents, mugging, and cancer combined.
All Americans can play a role in changing the culture that enables sexual violence. Each of us can take action by lifting up survivors we know and breaking the silence surrounding rape and sexual assault. Together, our Nation is moving forward in the fight against sexual assault. This month, let us keep working to prevent violence in every corner of America, and let us rededicate ourselves to giving survivors the bright future they deserve.

Running Warrior
While serving on active duty in the Marine Corps from 2006-2010, I was sexually assaulted by a fellow Marine. Since then, I've done everything I can to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Over 500,000 men and women have been sexually assaulted in the military. Sexual violence is on the raise in the military while prosecutions go down. More than 80% of accused assaulters leave the military with better than a dishonorable discharge. Sexual assault was dec

Unspeakable Topics: Incest and Sexual Abuse w/ Dr. Loren Due
It’s the awful little secret that nobody wants to discuss. Statistics from RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National network), state 15 percent of sexual assault and rape cases occur in children under the age of 12, with 93 percent of juvenile sexual assault perpetuated by someone they know. These are difficult topics of which I have not experienced personally, but I do know of others who have endured the horror of incest and sexual abuse as children. My guest today has survived a

Intro to Arrested Development - Pilot
A child wounded by rejection, incest, molestation, emotional, physical, or sexual abuse will become an adult who is childish in all their ways; not being able to put away childish things. For those of you who have never heard the term Arrested Development,it is used to describe the occurrence in the human body when a person has experienced something so traumatic in their childhood that it may allow them to grow physically, but still stunted in their emotional, relational, and even
