Race Across America's Executive Director Rick Boethling joins us to discuss the upcoming. Race Across America (RAAM) soloists and all divisions of Race Across the West (RAW) get underway June 10. RAAM relay team racing begins Saturday June 14.
Both RAAM and RAW begin in Oceanside, CA and follow the same route to Durango, CO where RAW ends and RAAM continues to Annapolis, MD. RAAM is a 3,000 mile non stop, coast to coast bicycle race conisdered to be one of the most difficult sporting events in the world.
RAAM Media One Photojournalist Vic Armijo joins us to discuss the upcoming Race Across America/Race Across the West. Vic provides his unique perspective as the person who brings the race to life for so many of us through both written and photographic imagery.
Mark Pattinson has multiple top five finishes in the 3,000 mile, coast to coast, non-stop bicycle Race Across America (RAAM). A crowd favorite, the understated Pattinson works a full time job, raises a family and fits in a busy training schedule. He is also a master tactician who knows his strengths and weaknesses. Mark is one of the most discilplined racers in the field who is able to let the rabbits go at the start and pick his way throught the field as the races crosses the continent. We look forward to discussing the 2014 edition with Mark this evening.

Tonight we will be talking on the current Race Relations in America 2014, with our very special guest Watson Prunier. Mr. Prunier is not only a wonderful person and a joy to chat with he is also a Strong Christian Conservative with his own Radio show, Watson’s incredible website Battle4Freedom.com and a man that has been very outspoken on Race Relations in America. Watson is the oldest of five siblings born in New York to Haitian immigrants, as Watson states in his Twitter bio “I'm a Christian! I'm a proud husband & father. I'm privileged by God to be born in America. I'm a writer.”
We will most certainly discuss the on goings in the wake of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson MO, along with the more recent Shaw shooting. The failed policies of the Obama Administration, the Ebola outbreak, and the dire situation in the Middle East. As well as the upcoming 2014 Midterms.

Salute to Paul Revere the singer. Vandalism against veterans memorials and buildings. Ebola outbreak - serious or a cover story? Meet Catherine (Cat) Brubaker. She looks like your normal, everyday, young woman. But what you don't know about Cat by just looking at her is that she is living with not one, but two, traumatic brain injuries. Cat does not let her brain injury tie her down. No, she is on a 5,200 mile trike trip across America (diagonally) to raise awareness for TBI. Come hear Cat.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!
