This will be Episode 1 for R B Waters on Everything.
It will serve two functions, firstly to test the capabilities of my iPhone for broadcasting.
Secondly, to introduce myself and my show.
I am R B Waters, I plan to have shows where no subject is off limits. Hence, R B Waters On EVERYTHING.
This show will be me "getting my feet wet" and beginning what hopefully will prove to be broadcast excellence for years to come.
Some topics on this broadcast may include the Bowe Bergdahl situation and other failures of the Obama Administration. No topics have been fully mapped out yet, but this situation is on my mind so it will most likely come up.
I intend to improve equipment over time, this first show will be created using my iPhone 4S through Verizon Wireless (Prepaid, so I get screwed out of Visual Voicemail features, but, I digress).
So, welcome and please offer some feedback when you've listened to this.

The Duval Project - Nu Soul/Jazz & R&B 2:15pm
The Duval Project is a Nu Soul/Jazz and RnB excursion formed by Gary Alesbrook. Influenced by his time playing with artists such as Raphael Saadiq and Lynden David Hall, Gary has formed a quintet with the young trio of electric bassist Richie Blake, drummer Danny Cox and keyboard player Andy Nowak. Gary plays trumpet, flugelhorn and keyboard. A retro approach but with fresh sounds, they also feature the vocals of Marie Lister. Their current E.P was mixed by Grammy Award winning New York sound engineer Russell Elevado and mastered in LA by Dave Collins.
Sheena O. Murray - R&B Artist 3:15pm
Without echoing words that were said before or painting a picture that you may have eyeballed numerous times, we’d like to introduce to you: Sheena O. Murray. Her story did not begin at the age of five as a musical child prodigy, nor was she a member of the church choir, belting out notes every Sunday. Hers is a simple story, not one of particular intrigue or “wow”. It is a story of a girl who meets music, falls in love with music, marries music, bears the seed of this union with melodies and lyrical prowess.
A Jamaican native, Sheena O. Murray migrated to Brooklyn, New York at the age of five and then moved to Florida at the age of nine. She began her musical journey while in High School as a theater geek performing in stage plays and musicals. She then transitioned, after those four years of campy musical theater performances, to vocal endeavors.

A show dedicated to those who appreciate real R&B and love the history of R&B Music. This show will take you on a Journey thru the 60's,70's,80's, and 90's. If you are a fan of R&B music you don't want to miss this show. Rhythm and blues, often abbreviated to R&B and RnB, is a genre of popular African-American music that originated in the 1940s. The term was originally used by record companies to describe recordings marketed predominantly to urban African Americans, at a time when "urbane, rocking, jazz based music with a heavy, insistent beat" was becoming more popular.[
While still in their teens, Steven Russell Harts, Allen McNeil, Rodney Benford, John Harreld, and Reggie Warren-AKA TROOP-scored big with their self titled Atlantic debut album, which yielded the #1 R&B hit, “MAMACITA,” and the top ten R&B tune “MY HEART”. Troop’s follow up album, 1989’s “ATTITUDE”, struck RIAA GOLD propelled by two #1 singles “SPREAD MY WINGS” and “ALL I DO IS THINK OF YOU.”
Entering a music industry that at the time already had the great success of other male R&B groups, Troop had their work cut out for them with distinguishing themselves from the rest, but from the moment they made their official entrance into the industry Troop quickly set themselves apart from other groups with their captivating harmony & explosive dance styles.
This internationally recognized R&B Sensation got their start in the late 80s after they won a televised talent contest called, “Puttin on the Hits” that drew interest from record labels & fans alike. Hailing from Pasadena, CA where they are still based, Troop was signed to Atlantic Records and released their debut single “Mamacita.” After reaching #1 on the Billboard R&B Charts it quickly established them as a group.
