Join me in giving a ritual for soul purification and a prayer for souls who have taken their leave of the earth. This is to help anchor a greater flame of Christ/Krishna consciousness, protection and peace for each lightbearer through the Antahkarana of Light. We'll also invoke the presence of the Five Dhyani Buddhas as we read these prayers and rituals from the book Ashram Notes by the Master El Morya!
The news from football has focused on "deflate-gate" or "ball-ghazi" this week instead of the Super Bowl. Is there something job hunters can learn about cheating and playing by the rules from this?

David-Elijah Nahmod is a film critic and reporter in San Francisco. His articles appear regularly in The Bay Area Reporter and SF Weekly. You can also find him on Facebook and Twitter.
He is currently doing a monthly column in South Florida Gay News titled “If You Could Read My Mind: A PTSD Diary.” David developed Post Traumatic Syndrome Disorder (PTSD) after surviving gay conversion therapy as a child and has found that many in the LGBT community suffer from severe, often untreated emotional disorders due to the extreme anti-gay traumas they endured.

What is it that drives or motivates you? Afterall, we are all passionate for something or someone, perhaps its your kids, husband or wife, your job or hobby. Truth is we are in constant pursuit, but is it the right desires and motivations we should have? Are we just simply settling for a mediocre relationship with Christ? If we are not careful and vigilent we can become entrapped and ensnared by the enemy from having impure thoughts and desires that are outside of God's will for us. And so we find ourselves compromising a little, saying "this habit is ok", or "God understands what I go through", "afterall nobody's perfect". All of these excuses keeps us from living up to our potential in Christ and leaves us falling short. May God help us to have a greater desire for moral purity and cease from having any taste for sensual pleasures that never really satisfy.
