Do You Know About The Promises Of God

    in Christianity

Promises (A declaration assuring that one will or will not do something; a vow.) A promise is something that you believe and see no need to doubt. God has made many promises to his people, but to claim the promises of Almighty God we must build a relationship with him. Without the relationship we want know what is expected of us so God can deliver his promises to his people.

    1. Faith that God has all power and he so loved us he sent his only begotten son to suffer hang, bleed, die, and rise with all power.

    2. Pray talking with God daily so you get to know his voice.

    3. Study his word to understand his ways, promises, and the things we are to do which is obey.

Faith and Finances: The Promises of Generosity

    in Self Help

We spent all of February talking about matters of the heart, hardened hearts, circumcised hearts, and guarded hearts. One of the things that tends to reveal our hearts the most is money!

Matthew 6:24 says, "No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

For the month of March, in honor of St. Patrick's Day and everything green, we are going to talk about our faith as it relates to our finances. In this 3rd episode we are going to look at the promises of generosity, and why it pays to be a giver. The Scriptures we will be referencing are Proverbs 3:9-10, Proverbs 11:24, and 2 Corinthians 9:6-15.

Get your pens and pads ready, as we align our faith with our finances!

    Precious Promises Prayer & Praise

    in Christianity

Taking hold of the precious promises of our loving God, we press to His throne of grace clutching our praises and prayer needs in hand and on our hearts.

Needs of those who have asked for prayer.  Needs of those who may not have requested but are in need of it.  People.  Situations.  Your own or those of others.  Petitions and thanksgiving.  Come and speak live on air or breath your silent prayer.

Additionally, it is optional to participate in Fasting Fridays:  Some are choosing to avoid for a period once a week from things they believe interfere with their spiritual focus.  Fasting is an individual endeavor with the Lord.

For your general spiritual support, the book, "Strong in the Broken Places: A Plan Behind the Pain" is recommended.

BISHOP MICHAEL PATTERSON "The Presence of God" on Faith Restoration Ministries - Dr. Barbara

    in Religion

We have all seen and heard from TELE-Evangelists Now we have REALITY-Evangelists who have distorted the word of God and  violated the principles of true Christianity. Those persons have brought reproach to the Holy Name of Jesus Christ by pretending to be His ministers. They are seducers and are leading thousands astray and into the bosom of hell. Do you want to hear the true doctrine of Jesus Christ? Do you want to hear preaching to help you in your Christian walk? Come and listen to Bishop Patterson as he presents the truth of God's word concerning holy living and righteousness.

Too many of those so-called preachers are only acting for the sake of filthy lucre not caring about their souls and those of the people they are deceiving. Surely indeed God will judge them in His own time. The word tells us that evil men and seducers [impostors] will continue [2 Timothy 3:13].

    Promises We Make To Ourselves

    in Spirituality

Many of us set up New Years Resolutions or goals for 2015. We are nearly halfway through through the year. Have you checked in on those personal "promises" recently?  If you did, how are you doing? By this time of year, most of us have forgotten what we promised ourselves or have given up.  How can we look at where we are now compared to where we were then in our lives and not see these lacks of fulfillment as stepping stones versus seeing them as failures?

Join Purpose Talk Radio host Cindy Freeman on Friday, May 1, noon PT/3 p.m. ET/8 p.m. UK for suggested ways you can answer these questions and help keep yourself feeling good about what is happening and realize that you are right where you are meant to be doing exactly what you are meant to be doing.  Discover ways to turn stumbling blocks that seem to some like failures into stepping stones toward success.  Come be a part of the discussion by sharing your experiences via Skype or phone at 347-205-9074..

Each Friday at 12 noon PT/3 pm ET/8 pm UK, host Cindy Freeman and her guests bring insights and ideas to help you grow in your Soul path. Cindy's guests are live their life with a purpose and are willing to share with listeners how they got there and how others might benefit from their experience. Join Cindy live or archived to explore this area.
