    WHO'S TO BLAME: MARRIAGE PROHIBITION

    in Politics

Issue: The was a day no one in North Florida could get married.  Who's to Blame?

Florida ended its gay marriage ban at midnight on Monday.  As a result, some clerks opened up shop early.  But fourteen counties, mostly in North Florida were hateful and wouldn't let anyone wed.   WTF?

Should the gays be blamed?  I mean if they didn't want to get married, then straight people in North Florida would have been able to get married.

What is motivating clerks to deny everyone the right to marriage to prevent gay marriages?  Is it religion or do they really just want to wait for the final ruling?

Prohibition by Ancients to Mix or Associate in any way with Black Race of Cain

    in Politics Conservative

From the apocryphal books of the Bible, Adam gives patriarchal instructions to his son, Seth (who took the place of Abel)--a portion of which were:
But now, O Seth, my son, place thyself at the head of thy people; tend them and watch over them in the fear of God; and lead them in the good way. Command them to fast unto God; and make them understand they ought not to hearken to Satan, lest he destroy them. Then, again, sever thy children and thy children's children from Cain's children; do not let them ever mix with those nor come near them either in their words or in their deeds. (Adam and Eve, 8:14-
    15)
Later "the Word of God" came to Seth and said to "But as to thy father Adam, keep thou the commandment he gave thee; and sever thy seed from that of Cain thy brother." Then it says that "After the death of Adam and of Eve, Seth severed his children, and his children's children from Cain's children." In one of Seth's teachings to his children he said: Make no fellowship with the children of Cain the murderer and the sinner, who killed his brother; for ye know, O my children, that we flee from him, and from all his sin with all our might because he killed his brother Abel. (Adam and Eve, 12:11) Further explanation stated that "among the children of Cain, there was much robbery, murder, and sin." Enos also gave the same law of segregation to his children by telling them to "make no fellowship with the children of Cain." Later Mahalaleel stood over his people "and watched them to see that they held no intercourse with the children of Cain." Irate, Tireless Minority - Guest Raeford Davis for LEAP

    in Politics Conservative

Today's guest is former police officer from South Carolina, Raeford Davis. Mr. Davis contacted me to ask if I would have him on to talk about LEAP(Law Enforcement Against Prohbition)

His bio(edited for length) from the LEAP site.
"I was misguided for participating in the war on drugs and my actions as a cop made things worse."

Raeford Davis served the City of North Charleston police department for six years, including four years as a patrol officer and two as a special victims unit detective. At the time, North Charleston was ranked the 8th most dangerous city in America. Before becoming a police officer, he served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

His perspective changed after patrolling a drug-plagued neighborhood nicknamed “4-Way.” He explains, “Children as young as 10 were recruited by older gang members to openly sell drugs, rob customers, and intimidate local residents. The kids were specifically recruited to sell drugs because they received less punishment if caught. As soon as I locked up one of these dealers, another younger one would take his place.” He realized that as long as gangs could make immense profits selling drugs, they would continue recruiting kids.

Raeford believes that we should legally regulate drugs to stop the violence and victimization of communities.Today, Raeford lives in Charleston. He retired in 2007, after being injured in the line of duty.

Doing my best to help the Lord set the brushfires of freedom in the hearts of men and to restore America, God willing, to the beacon of freedom she was meant to be.
