Filmmaker Joel Gilbert talks about revealing the dangers of progressivism via his new film and how his previous film landed him on Obama's enemies list.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!
If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!
It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!
Kevin C. Murphy & Stuart Zechman discuss the difference between modern ¨liberalism¨ and modern ¨progressivism.´ Five minutes excerpted from this longer conversation where Stuart Zechman and Kevin C. Murphy discuss Kevin's dissertation, Uphill All the Way: The Fortunes of Progressivism 1919-1929 Gaius Publius considers it here.
Listen to Kevin's Aug 2013 conversation about1920s progressive context, thought and action in which progressives became liberals... here.
In this Episode, Elias Wilkin examines the origins and theory of "Progressivism," the innocuous name given to so-called "liberal" collectivist theories that run contrary to Natural Law and have wormed their way into the center of our current political theories.
Joining Debra Rae for this month's TRUTHTalk edition of Changing Worldviews is President of Environmental Perspectives, Inc. (EPI), Dr. Michael S. Coffman played a key role in halting U.S. Senate ratification of the Biodiversity Treaty. In Plundered, Dr. Coffman details how, during the past one hundred years, progressive ideology has overtaken public education, the mainstream media, and America’s political institutions; moreover, it bears responsibility for deeply dividing our nation. Worse, progressivism focuses on hatred of everything American—her ethics, economics, and constitutional law. While plundering hardworking Americans, and amassing crippling debt, progressivism undercuts America’s free market system. Its end goal? A new social order of global magnitude. Tune in for answers and to join the discussion.
Then in Hour 2 - The Sharon Hughes Show on Pre-Election coverage on the Electoral College, and Debra and Audrey Russo join Sharon to discuss the 'war on women' and all important woman's vote.
In honor of Black History Month, Michael will speak on why he feels that not only is liberalism destroying Black History, but also destroying the Black race. You can agree to disagree by calling (347) 826-9357 & speaking to him.

Sunday is normally reserved for candidates for office or for public office holders. This Sunday will be no different. We'll start in Missouri and move northwest to Idaho. No, this isn't the Oregon Trail, but it will be a worthy journey.
Our first guest is Jim Evans, fresh off a win in a primary for the seat he seeks in Congress in Missouri's 7th Congressional District. Jim's practical approach to problem-solving obviously resonated with Missourians. Now, with less than 90 days until Election Day on Tuesday, November 4, Jim Evans is back to make his appeal to Missouri voters. We'll also discuss the "Amendment One" "Right to Farm" action that snuck its way in with craftily worded language that now opens up the opportunity for more factory farming and affects the individual gardener/farmer. With his expertise in economics, statistics and farming, it will be valuable to hear his position on this and so many other issues. Tune in just after 7pm Eastern to learn more about Jim and his vision for the Show Me State: http://jimevansforcongress.com/
Our second guest is Spike Ericson, who is a candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives, running in House District 23B. Spike is a singer, songwriter, musician, family man and a man with a passion for Idahoans! He's ready to stand up to special interests and represent all local communities in southwest Idaho. Tune in after 8pm Eastern to hear more about his stance on the issues and his journey to the Idaho House of Representatives: http://democracy.com/Spike-Ericson
No one is getting sick on this trail...only informed & inspired. Let's get the conversation going...
On today's perhaps abbreviated show I'll finish up this outline of the humanist agenda based upon their own printed and published manifestos. This is a war of a spiritual nature for this country, its future, and most importantly the people in it. Today again I'll draw parallels on just how and just why social and political progressivism and secular humanism go hand in hand. All of which makes secular humanism much more dangerous than the dreaded "bible thumper" boogeyman, who, unless he or she is really radically, simply understands that we as people can't save ourselves and that we'll never prosper as people or a nation if go against God or even simply leave Him out. That's today at 4:30 Eastern and again, archived after that.
Common Sense: Sound, prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or facts. Conservatism: “Ideas over Ideology, Principles over Party.” Progressive Liberalism: Ideology rejecting all things that speak to COMMON SENSE.
The 21st century began with the United States as the sole superpower with Russia waiting patiently for an opportunity. China grows stronger, in spite of U.S. objections to their human rights issues.
But then, 9/11 happened. We rubbed the complacency from our eyes, and the government, assured us all was "in control." Thankfful, some of us fell back to sleep.
2014- U.S.becomes the world's proverbial "red-headed" step-child, disliked by classmates, hated by those given guardianship over its health and welfare.
Reagan understood that given the choice of being loved or respected, America - if it were to survive - would have to assume responsibility for the latter, with an earnest vigilance. Fully awake, we now have A President in the White House whose intentions are clear. That with pen and phone in hand,- along with the testicles of an ineffective Congress in his pocket,- he plans to set into motion the transition of the U.S. from a Republic to a Fascist society.
No longer a political party issue, we are now battling an ideology that seeks to make America a part of the “Not So" Greater Good."
Common Sense is Kryptonite to Liberals. Let's get started.
This episode of The #SocialSpitballShow features two Democratic candidates for Congress who began their lives in the Republican Party, but gradually moved away from the increasingly radical party it has become.
The first of our two candidates on this show is Will Bronson. Bronson's wife is a "life coach specializing in Radical Forgiveness." Unabashedly sharing his resume of involvement in the Republican Party, Bronson reveals his dedication to fairness in government and to making sure more people have their voices heard in the democratic process. Advocating for re-regulation of banks & the removal of big money in politics, as well as a smart grid power system built on green energy, Bronson reveals that among other things, he is for the people and the environment. Catch more about Will's stance on things after the introduction after 7pm Eastern: http://www.bronsonforcongress.com/
Our second candidate also came out of Republican Party activism that was driven by his dedication to service learned from his parents & his service in the Boy Scouts & the military. Mark Greene, an expert marksmen and former Military Police officer, started out in politics on a local level helping a neighbor run and win a school board campaign. After standing with fellow Texan George H.W. Bush against Pat Robertson in the Republican Party nomination process, Mark soon saw that his party didn't sync with his values. An obvious education advocate, Mark also stumps for political finance reform, energy and natural resource security, as well as other important issues. Learn more about Mark Greene's campaign around 8pm Eastern: http://www.markgreeneforcongress.org/
These two demonstrate what it means to put people before partisan politics...something we desperately need! Let's get the conversation going...
