    @Pkolo The Producer speaks 2 @VickensMoscova on working @ #Badboy & new projects

    in Music

    Widens Dorsainville, also known as Pkolo “The Producer”, has been creating music since he was a child. “Creating has always been a part of me” says Pkolo, “I remember sitting at my table watching my Aunt Saundra blogging about music while she was studying to become a doctor”. Through experiences like this, he realized that music was a universal language that affected all people, whether they were in the industry, studying in school, or living on the street. Recognizing music’s broad appeal, Pkolo was inspired to channel his creativity through the medium of music, and he was determined to create that which would strongly affect those around him. In the year 1999, Pkolo relocated to New Jersey after separating from his family, who resided in Haiti. He found himself surrounded with various cultures and new experiences that he had never been exposed to. Curious and enthusiastic, he delved into these new experiences with an open mind. It was during this time that he discovered his true love; Hip Hop music. “I had always listened to hip hop but never really paid much attention to it. Then one day Hot 97 had put on this one song, (Quiet Storm by Mobb Deep), and I was immediately hooked” recalls Pkolo. Hip hop had found Pkolo. Pkolo had found his lifes work

    "C.B.R." Catching Up With Hip Hop Producer PL 12

    in Hip Hop Music

    Tonight C.B.R. would like to welcome back one of our most prominent guests, Music Producer PL 12. After coming through to chop it up with us last year, it was discovered that PL 12 has some serious talent and an impressive resume for someone who has only begun to scratch the surface in a promising career in music having worked with music artists such as Beanie Sigel, Tyga and The Nappy Roots to name a few. Well Mr. PL has a few things to catch us up with as the grind has not stopped and his name has only gotten bigger.

    Last year when we brought PL 12 on, he played us a collage of his instrumental tracks and he has given us yet another treat tonight as he has given us a brand new collage of instrumentals that we'll be airing tonight so Hip Hop artists looking for talented producers, make sure you tune in because you may hear something you like and want to purchase. Let's not forget PL 12 is the producer of the official C.B.R. Intro & Outro which airs at the beginning and end of every show.

    As the host and producer of C.B.R, I can tell you PL 12 and I have had some of the most interesting and opinionated debates on Hip Hop via Facebook with one of the most stand out being "Is Ghostwriting in Hip Hop Acceptable." I can tell you firsthand that PL 12 does not back down from a debate and is highly opinionated, so you'll always get the real, which you have to respect and why C.B.R. on It's Real Talk Radio is the perfect platform for such a guest.

    4/19 last year was PL 12's debut on C.B.R, so 4/19 this year actually marks the 1 year anniversary of PL 12's debut and we promise it wasn't intentionally planned out that way lol. It is however our pleasure to welcome back PL 12 in such fashion.

    Brace yourselves for a night of fun, entertainment and Hip Hop because it's going down tonight. C.B.R. on It's Real Talk Radio!

Connor studied piano with his uncle Frank Bennett who was an accomplished musician and band leader in Western New York. At an early age Connor started performing by playing organ at a local church in Buffalo, New York. He would accompany his mother at the Musicians Local Union Club. It is there he developed a strong interest in contemporary jazz.  He spent 5 years on tour managing and performing with G-Force, considered one of the top west coast bands now based in Washington, DC he began producing records for a number of local artist including the Velons. Connor Conrad has established himself as an accomplished writer and producer and is currently composing a music catalog suited for commercial licensing. He wrote and produced his debut CD 'Indigo Blue" which demonstrates his broad writing approach. Indigo Blue is published by the Akachi Music Group label and now available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.

    Cathy Garner, affectionately known as Cat, is a native of Chicago who currently resides in Dallas. She is a singer, songwriter, and recording artist who is becoming recognized as one of the top female vocalists.  With a growing fan base who loves her sultry and sophisticated style, Cat's love of jazz is evident.

    In 2010, Cat Garner wrote Compromiseand recorded it with the expertise of talented music producer Connor Conrad, Ten70Music, BMI. Her inspiration to write a song about romantic relationships emerged from observing everyone's relationship issues, including challenges in her own marriage.  Cat's philosophy is "if neither partner is willing to compromise, then their relationship will be compromised."  Compromise is the first, but not the last of Cat's recorded compositions.
