It's Tuesday! Kristi, Jenn and Rhonda are bringing the awesome this week as they interview Katya of KatyaMusic about her upcoming dog 'taming' book, there's another manscaping adventure, and the usual random hilarity that ensues when someone puts a mic infront of these three and encourages drinking.
Laura Ashley is a brand new charming sensation that promises a powerhouse in country music. There is nothing fake about this 20-year-old country girl who is full of life, passion, and a hankering for adventure.
The music scene began early for this dirty-blonde spitfire. As a small fry, Laura would often scurry off to the horses to sing them a tune or two. The great outdoors was her everyday stage.
Though Laura has devoted many years to classical vocal training, her true sass and joy comes out best when she’s belting it with a twang. A two time All-Stater in voice, Laura sings in church and at weddings. She recently decided to follow her dream of performing and writing country music. Music is part of her daily life whether practicing, performing, or writing she pushes on to go farther.
Though Laura is just beginning, she has already been blessed to sing backstage with artists Randy Houser, Thomas Rhett, Lauren Alaina, and Phil Vassar. Laura’s love for country music runs deep. With her love for wide open spaces and her remarkable little red horse, Lil' Bit, Laura is a true cowgirl. Heck, she's even ridden her horse to work on several occasions! With her authentic country background, anyone can see that her music is real!
So if you’re ever in their hometown you just might see Laura Ashley and her horse galloping across green fields with a sense of fierce freedom trailing behind them in the wind. And if you’re quiet you might hear a country song echoing off the golden Ozark hills. Laura has tucked her country voice inside all her life... until now. There’s a promising future for this cowgirl with big vocals and her little red horse!
I'm ecstatic to be featuring my guest today, Tangela Ekhoff. This woman makes me laugh, cry (from laughter) and has such a gorgeous personality it is no wonder she is a YOUtube sensation and the Go to expert for getting visibility with your biz vids.
Tangela has been featured on CNN, Good Morning America, Woman's Day and much more. Yes you've probably seen her around.
Be prepared to laugh your A** off as we dive deep into what makes her online TV show a success, her inspirational journey and ...did I mention southern sass!

NWP welcomes singer/songwriter Ed Roman.
Right out of the gate, with his freshman release in 2000, Special Ed and The Musically Challenged, Ed Roman defined his paradigm with inventive, infectious tunes that shook one’s marrow and stirred the spirit…This guy is unique! Three follow-up releases with SEMC continued to mesmerize and astonish, with music that both kissed and prodded, seduced and challenged, hypnotized and enlightened…
May 2011, Ed released his solo venture, Oracles and Ice Cream, and has never looked back. It is 22 tracks that are an amazing marvel of songwriting wizardry, prodigious performances and contagious energy, with the mystery and magic of a lucid, tantalizing dream. The music both traverses and convenes broad music styles into the consummate collective of penetrating rhythms and canyon-wide harmonic explorations, glazed with lyrics that are both poignant and whimsical.
Now, with Letters from High Latitudes, (an homage to his Ontario, Canada home) Ed Roman has done it again, creating an earthy, funky and magical mix of music to seduce the listeners’ ears! An accomplished musician, Ed performs 90 percent of the instruments on his album, recording drums, bass, guitars, organ, vocals and even sitar! The sound is rounded out with help from some of the top Canadian session musicians like Dave Patel on drums (Sass Jordan) and Mike Freedman on electric guitars (Tia Brazda) http://edroman.net

Ready for some irreverance and sass? Hope so, because on today's show Hydrant Club member #5 - Laurel May Bond - joins the program. She's a writer who covers entertainment, fashion and design for a bunch of online and print publications and also has a bimonthly column in SEVEN called "The Hookup". She also pens a blog with an entirely unvarnished and witty view on a serious topic, cancer. Most of all, though, she's Manchester's mom. We'll talk about "bowling ball" (our fond nickname here at Hydrant Club for Manchester) and all manner of other stuff.
