My copy of "Sing, Sing, Sing" (introducing "Christopher Columbus" [Louis Prima]) is 12" RCA Victor 36205A-B. The top of the label says "Swing Classic," perhaps suggesting that it was part of a set; I don't have the rest of the set, if indeed it came with. The entire personnel of the Goodman band at that time is listed on the labels (both sides!). Included are such luminaries as Hymie Schertzer and Adrian Rollini, saxes; Harry James and Ziggy Elman, trumpets; Harry Goodman (BG's brother), string bass; Jess Stacy, piano; Gene Krupa, drums. Total 14 (5 reeds, incl. BG; 3 trpts., 2 trombones, 4 rhythm (piano, bass, drums, guitar). Mmm, not a bad bunch
The Left loves anti-religious art — as long as it’s anti-Christian; Obamerikastan’s politicized tax enforcement is prima facie evidence of its engineered decline; ‘Mass destruction of capital’ is a liberal economic panacea, like magic wands, money trees, and Skittles-pooping unicorns; British Conservatives win in a blowout, Labor pollsters suicidal; and have you ever wondered why Obama lets illegal-alien criminals run free? Answer: "The Plan".

native of Philadelphia, the vivacious and versatile Brooke Lewis has made an impact as an actress, producer and TV personality. Brooke relocated to New York, where she began her professional career. Her first major taste of the limelight came from Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding – the Off-Broadway hit comedy- in which she played the “prima donna” bridesmaid Donna Marsala. Brooke soon signed with Tazmania/Metropolitan Records and released the freestyle song “Get Me Off Your Mind”. Brooke would also find success on-screen, appearing in The Rules (For Men), A Packing Suburbia and Pride & Loyalty.
She headed west – to Hollywood. There, she would create Philly Chick Pictures, an endeavor designed to increase opportunities in front of the camera, as well as behind it. Since making the move, Brooke has had roles in, or on, several projects, including, Quintuplets, Mafiosa, Break, Gerald, Dahmer Vs. Gacy, Alien Dawn, The Mourning, Starship: Rising, Starship: Apocalypse and Hollywood Apocalypse. She starred opposite Butch Patrick (Eddie Munster) in the indie TV pilot/web series Life’s A Butch. Some of this firecracker’s impressive producing credits include: Circuit Riders (actress/producer), Broken Angel (co-producer), Kinky Killers actress/co-executive producer), iMurders (actress/executive producer), The Drum Beats Twice (actress/executive producer), At The Sinatra Club (actress/producer), Slime City Massacre (actress/co-producer) and Sprinkles (actress/executive producer/producer). In 2009, Brooke launched the Ms. Vampy TV/talk show/web series, which she created, starred in and produced.

NBC News Anchor Brian Williams is in a little bit of hot water. He admits he embellished a story about being on a military helicopter that was shot down in Iraq in 2003.
Some of the soldiers on the chopper were the ones who called Williams out.
As of this recording, NBC News has not disciplined him.
This story is a great symbol of what TV news is today – and why it is losing relevance as news – because it is wrapped in entertainment.
First, let me say this about Brian Williams. I don’t know him. What I see of him on the air – like on the Daily show – he is funny and talented. From what I hear and read, he is, what one person described as a mensch who talks to and mingles with staffers. He is no prima-donna.
So I feel some sympathy for Williams. You hate to jump on someone when they’re a decent person and they’re down.
Still, my comments here relate to the TV news industry – and what effect it might have had on Brian Williams and this story.
Williams has apologized. He went on air and social media to say – quote –
"I think the continued viewing of the video showing us inspecting the impact area — and the fog of memory over 12 years — made me conflate the two, and I apologize." End Quote
OK let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was so wrapped up into the “eye witness accounts” of the soldiers that he re-lived them as his own.
Ronald Reagan used to tell war stories in speeches only to find out the incidents were from screenplays.
And who among us hasn’t embellished a little bit on our own significance?
Still, Brian Williams holds what is supposed to be a position of trust.
