"I'm not a giver upper!" Juliana Carver (October 4, 2013)
in The Bible
Have you ever been challenged in your faith and walk with God? Have you been tried by the fire and till came out with a praise? Have you ever wondred, "Where is God when , I'm going through?" If so, this episode is for you. Harvested, Pressed' and, processed will help the the believer understand this trial walk through faith is just that, a trial. There is always an ending point. Hold on to your faith and don't let go. It is a part of the process.
HIV aids claimed her husband. As she came to term with his departure she not only mourned his death but the disease that she thought he has left in her. She looks at her two daughters, and violent sobs rack her body as she realizes her children would become a statistic among the millions of orphaned African children to HIV aids. But God………….
Wow, it truly is amazing this walk with Jesus! I think from the perspective of in the midst of a trial that defies common logic we find our self at times. When we are turning to the Lord and walking closer to the Lord it's an interesting thing that happens. My life is in the hands of Jesus and wow it's an awesome display of His holiness at work. Not one stone is left unturned! I am living for Christ and find that their is no room for sin in my life and two kingdoms are are war with each other and it's daily battle with no time to lower your guard.
When your all busted out, no options left what do you do? For me that day came years ago when i thought I bottomed out and got over myself but i didnt. I realize today my father has gutted me and is cleansing every portion of my life that the enemy has not a thing to accuse me of. The epic part of it is the absolute stress upon my spirit and soul I can say with real honesty I can relate to David at His lowest point. David you see had a heart after the LORD. However the man David murdered, committed adultry and lied and so was in all way's a regular guy we all fall short, yet God loved Him and made him a King over His people.
I marvel at this because the more we look at david the more we see the wrong way to behave and the right way to behave and the road back from perdition to a victorious life in Christ where we are stomping on the devils throat daily and setting people free because we are not so focused on our self and our own life that we can go out and serve. I am at the point in my life today where I have an important decision to make and that decision is going to be a huge impact on my life and commitment to Jesus!
I am no longer a man in the flesh I have promised myself to be chaste to the Lord until I marry. This is a very important commitment as is my life totally to the Lord and so today I pray to breath some hope into your life God willing!

Cold-pressed oils, gluten-free cookies, 16 flours and whole grain cookies made from grapes “scraps” once tossed in the landfill? Yes. WholeVine offers an entire line of culinary products produced solely from pomace (skins and seeds remaining after grapes are pressed for wine production), a delicious example of full cycle sustainability I discovered at the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Cooking for Solutions Institute this past spring. I knew I had to share this incredible story with the Mrs. Green’s World tribe and so I shall. Please join us. This show sponsored by Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona.

I now see why the Lord by and through the Holy Spirit has brought in the last week Isaiah 8 and Jeremiah 7 forth. It is a clear picture of the many who refuse, and refused Jesus , the River of Shiloh. For it is He who is the river of Shiloh...For they have refused His grace and His Living Waters....
in Isaiah 8:5-7, salvation is by the waters of Shiloah that go softly. That is, salvation is to be found in the appointed way of God's grace and mercy in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not to be found by human strength.
God comes to them and says, "The way of salvation will be found alone in the way of grace and mercy through Jesus Christ." God calls us to renounce all confidence in self and in man. And God calls us, by faith, to find our salvation only in the waters of the blood of Christ, the waters of God's mercy.
In Isaiah 8:5-., God is making the sad observation to His prophet Isaiah that the people of Judah, in the midst of their grievous problems, were committing an enormous sin. The sin that they were committing was that they rejected the waters of Shiloah.
Judah was pressed by her enemies. Rumors of confederacies of nations joining together for their destruction flooded the land. It was a time in which the people of Judah began to take stock of their resources. And in the midst of their calamity, they refused - literally they rejected, they scorned, they held in contempt - the waters of Shiloah that go softly.
The waters of Shiloah refer to a small fountain sending forth a little stream to the city of Jerusalem - a brook bubbling up from Mount Zion which flowed quietly and peacefully through the city. Shiloah means "gentle, quiet." The root word means "rest." You might know that in the Scriptures Jesus Christ is called "Shiloh," that is, "Rest-giver."
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose.
But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.
Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again.
Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; in no way alarmed by your opponents—which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God.
For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
Flesh means your sinful nature. The physical aspect of human beings which distinguishes them from God and is therefore frequently used in the New Testament as a symbol of human sinful nature in contrast with God’s perfection.
The Greek word for flesh is sometimes translated by other words and phrases in the passages cited in this theme. As individuals or in relation to others.
The following two examples from Paul, where the normal word for flesh underlies the translation body, make clear that to live in the flesh is normal human experience; the phrase does not necessarily imply that human nature is sinful, even though in many other instances a specific connection between flesh and sin is intended.
As the means by which Jesus Christ identified with the human...
