Is President Obama a Leader ?

    in Politics

Leon Panetta argued that for all of Barack Obama’s strengths, he is missing an essential ingredient of leadership. He lacks “fire,” wrote Obama’s former CIA director and Pentagon chief. “The president relies on the logic of a law professor rather than the passion of a leader.”Obama has proved Panetta right again and again during his presidency, but never more dangerously so than with his shoulder-shrug approach to ISIS. Obama called it a “J.V. team” before it started beheading Americans. He said it was “contained” before it attacked Paris. Now he’s calling it “a bunch of killers with good social media.”Ron Fournier

President Obama is tired of all the critics who say his strategy to destroy Islamic State isn't working."The only thing that they're doing is talking as if they're tough," he complained last week. "If folks want to pop off and have opinions about what they think they would do, [they should] present a specific plan."What the rest of us need, Obama counseled, is more patience. "It's going to take time".Obama was right on one count: ?LATimes

    The InJustice of Terroristic Crimes

    in Current Events

As a community outreach broadcast of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery, we want to provide the public platform to share your thoughts of these topics while protecting your anonymity. Call the show at 929-477-3163, press 1 to speak live or get involved through our active chatroom by using your Social ID login for Blogtalk Radio. We are discussing the many human injustices displayed in crime, race, religion, education, social issues and more.

Are you ready for a powerful broadcast tonight about the topic of TERRORISTIC CRIMES. Many people consider a terroristic crime only exists against a government entity, however these terror inflicting crimes violate Human & Civil Rights; against children and adults. Terroristic crimes aren't only committed on the other side of the world, they are committed in our neighborhoods and even our homes. The taught understanding of CRIME is what happens when a stranger or neighbor attacks someone, robs a business, uses illegal drugs and so forth. We don't even use the word terroristic unless someone sets off a bomb, or takes down an airplane. However, there is a completely different side to these types of crime. Join me live tonight as we clarify more the actions involved committed which meet the State, Federal, and United Nations description of these acts.

Our shows are for public discussion and community involvment. They do not represent any form of professional legal, medical, or therapeutic suggestions. We hope you involve your teens and family, because ending Human InJustice requires inspiring the next generation to get involved in their community well being today. Thank you

Voices InJustice - Emotional or Verbal Abuse - Is this a societal abuse?

    in Current Events

Welcome to Voices InJustice, a continuing outreach program of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery. We are here to share your public voice, without sharing your identity. You are able to share your thoughts by calling in live at 929-477-3163 or by loging into blogtalkradio.com with your Social ID and join the live chatroom. Sunday, Oct 11th, 7pm eastern/6pm central/4pm pacific time we are discussing the influence of Emotional and/or Verbal abuse.

TELL ME - Which would you find more influential in changing our behaviors; Is it what we constantly hear others say about us? Is it degrading words society uses to describe persons whom they don't even know? Is it what our children hear in the comments and condemnation from their parents or other kids at school? The key is that Emotional or Verbal Abuse can happen anytime, by anyone, it is how we pass judgement on others because of their lifestyle choice or certain ways they act. It is the comments by parents calling their child stupid, rather than saying, 'that was a stupid action, but you can do better'. Emotional & Verbal abuse is usually at it's worst in a dominating relationship; one your teen just might be tolerating to date the most popular person in school. It is something we think nothing about in our comments about the person or the family down the street, and it is what ends up being the constant bullying your child might be inflicting on others because its the only way people at home ever talk about them. This is a personally destructive abuse that targets how we see ourselves, the feeling of being worthy.

Tonight we discuss how we teach our kids to see our society and how they will handle social/personal relationships. Join us live for open discussion to share any experiences or comments, because we definitely VALUE YOUR VOICE. Our shows are strictly for open discussion entertainment only. Thank you

President Obama: Education Should Be Top Priority for Black America

    in Pop Culture

Government programs alone won't get our children to the promised land. We need a new mindset, a new set of attitudes, because one of the most durable and destructive legacies of discrimination is the way we've internalized a sense of limitation — how so many in our community have come to expect so little from the world and from themselves.

"We've got to say to our children: 'Yes, if you're African-American, the odds of growing up amid crime and gangs are higher. Yes, if you live in a poor neighborhood, you will face challenges that somebody in a wealthy suburb does not have to face. But that's not a reason to get bad grades; that's not a reason to cut class; that's not a reason to give up on your education and drop out of school.'"

He added: "To parents, we can't tell our kids to do well in school and then fail to support them when they get home. You can't just contract out parenting. For our kids to excel, we have to accept our responsibility to help them learn. That means putting away the Xbox, putting our kids to bed at a reasonable hour. It means attending those parent-teacher conferences and reading to our children and helping them with their homework."

What President Obama said is not new. We have heard it every day and week from pastors, community leaders, educators and, yes

Voices InJustice - Giving praise to our Veterans - Warriors for Freedom

    in Current Events

Voices InJustice honoring our Veterans.... Sunday beginning at 7pm eastern time, please join in with Trish as we give praise to the warriors who protect us everyday. We depend on our Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom to seek happiness & live our daily life without threat; we would not enjoy any of this without the soldiers who defend us everyday.

I've been a military wife, moved half way around the world and gave birth to two children while tour in the U.K., it is difficult being a new parent when you have family around you, even more challenging when your spouse is a soldier getting stationed some place new every three or four years and trying to settle your children into a new place on a regular basis. When we left the U.K. and went to Netherlands, it was right at the Grenada battle and the Dutch Marines strip searched me & my babies as we entered the airport customs. It was a terrifying 12mons over there where we couldn't speak the language or communicate with our families. This is a sacrifice that millions of Military Families give to protect our daily freedom. Tonight we invite anyone who would like to praise their special soldier, share a story, share your tour time and the battles that have caused so many to suffer with injury, loss of life, and the haunting triggers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Think of what they have been through and how long their tour in battle to make sure no harm comes to American soil.

Marines, Navy, Air Force, Army our respect for all you give to our country everyday. This show is in your honor. Thank you all for your service and your families for the sacrifice they suffer with you.

Our phones & chatroom will be open and we hope many will join this show. We are for entertainment and outreach support as part of Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery. Thank you for supporting us

C.D. - The Criminal Justice System "Reforms" by Barack Obama

    in Islam

At this writing, I've not gone into great detail on Barack Obama's criminal justice system "reforms", as they apply to the "rights" of ex-felons, as they attempt to re-fold into civic life.

As I understand, there is much ado, regarding disclosures on job applications, which arguably, has precluded former inmates' ability to obtain an honest job, and be able to create distance between their past violations and present life-circumstances.

In this, one can argue that this very policy, as it severely limits one's ability to function in his or her "new" society, puts such persons in a situation where a return to crime is inevitable, so of course, questions arise as to the very purpose of incarceration, and the perception that these long-standing policies, including the loss of the privilege to vote, were at their inception, targeted at black Americans.

How can these policies be justified, if one has "paid their debt to society"?

Indeed, there are many people, ex-felons, given a chance to more forward, who have indeed proven themselves worthy of respect, honor and being seen as living examples of Allah's / God's redemption.

On the other hand, what about their victims; When and how are they "paid"?

I will research this issue in more depth, so we will have a most meaningful:

Hard Starboard Radio: Barack Obama Always Gets What He Wants

    in Politics Conservative

Just for the record, Barack Obama has clinched his Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement; Desperation or stupidity? Jeb Bush is about to send Dubya out to campaign for him; Baltimore still drowning in its own self-shed blood; Barack Obama is preparing to terminate the Second Amendment by Executive Decree; Russia is pouring troops and equipment into Syria; "In Defense of Looting" at Yale University; Donald Trump childishly lashes out at Marco Rubio; The Muslim invasion of Europe is reviving Danish nationalism; and is Hillary Clinton giving up on Iowa and New Hampshire?

President Clinton - NO, NOT THAT ONE; me

    in Elections

I said that I want to establish a new criteria for our Presidency: A PRESIDENT and A KING. What does this mean. I’ll get to it – someone who undertakes the Oval Office with character/integrity/honesty and a dispatch for the benefit of people of the Kingdom/Nation and more. NEXT, we have to stop electing members of/from the two Political Parties - YOU KNOW WHY  ??   and forget about this Capitalization yelling stuff suggested by it. I capitalize and that's it. Can't you see that a Political Candidate can't shed Her/His political bars(ranking- Sen/Gov/higher up), stripes(platform – no matter how tilted and irrelevant) and allegiances( friends, donors & Campaign sponsors/staff). I want to have a different path to the White House: non-political people. Politics is the art of government and relationships as thought of. But it has become synonymous with being a Democrat or Republican in the White House, with either the Democratic or Republican Party behind you. Do you know why I ask for 120,000,000 Presidential Write-In Ballots for me: it’s because I want the whole country – the entire nation - every American to feel like she or he has someone in the WH who he or she can identify with and feel some personal & national opportunity with and then see it come true. NEXT: there are cures for our country and they are a splice of life – 2B an American, you need 2B a DEM and a REP with a little of conserve and liberal and other colognes: the smell test. MORE ON THIS at 5:30 PM and tomorrow...   bwell   c2it   C Clinton
