Dating, The Ex and The Future

    in Self Help

Whether we like it or not the past informs our present. And when we aren't careful, it can sabatouge it as well. The butterflies and anticipation of dating someone new can easily be replaced with the neuroticism and fear carried from our past. Instead of expanding into the adventure of potential, we contract anticipating pain and disappointment. So how do we break these emotional chains while retaining the lessons learned? Recently I saw the ex I spoke about on the Feb. 10th episode, Heartbrakes, Pity Parties and Black Stelletos. Tune in Sunday at 7:30 to find out what I discovered and the gift I walked away with.
