It's not just the Boy Scout Motto, but rather your personal motto instead. What I am getting at here is that one should ask themselves, am I prepared to meet God? We all think about that day from time to time, but from what I see going on in the world and in people around me, is that there is a denial of faith.
We have all become so wrapped up in doing stuff in our lives that we have forgotten God, in a lot of our daily routines.
Think about that. Someday you'll have the time to talk with God and "hopefully", make things right before He calls you to your judgment day. Are you really that lucky?
So be sure to join us as the Oblong Table Crew discusses the question given to the prophet Amos as it relates to his book, Amos chapter 4, verse 12. And I quote a part of it here “Prepare to meet your God” !
Pretty powerful statement wouldn't you say?
So until show time ask yourself, are you prepared to meet God.
Have a blessed and wonderful week folks, be safe and read your bible. And become prepared...

On August 2012 our nation was riveted by the excerpts of a 911 emergency call that came from an elementary school in Georgia by their schools bookkeeper. Now in the presence of an armed man, over 800 occupants in the building, having fired a round of shots and now occupying the office with "Antoinette Tuff", he was prepared to die and take others with him.
On that day the very mention of "Tuff" took on a persona of which we'd never seen nor heard before. Her name became synonymous with Courageous, Selflessness and Caring. Heroism arose from a place of rejection, pain and loss also demonstrating to us what the power of God, faith in him and what preparation of our life's experiences can do.
Join us as we welcome this extraordinary lady "Antoinette Tuff" the author of "Prepared for a Purpose" and founder of "Kids on the Move for Success". Visit our web page at the Kingdom United Ministries Network site and share it with others. You are welcome!
ARE WE PREPARED SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, AND PHYSICALLY, FOR THIS BATTLE?
Prepared for a Purpose: How One Woman Saved a School Under Siege by Antoinette Tuff
This on demand audio series is a part of the Executive Girlfriends Group Vignette Series. Chicke Fitzgerald interviews Antoinette Tuff. The original live interview was 1/9/15.
As 870 children waited in fear, their elementary school rushed into lockdown mode. As the nation faced yet another Sandy Hook story of tragedy, one woman rewrote the ending.
An inspirational woman who speaks with head, heart and energy, Antoinette will share with your audience the specific tools and techniques she used to talk the gunman off the edge of despair and violence. She'll outline for your audience the critical steps she took that saved hundreds of lives. The tools Antoinette used that day are some of the same tools we all are called to use in the corporate world and when dealing with disturbed employees, angry customers, or business pressures that drive people to the brink. Antoinette shares how she "chose" to use judgment, not pass judgment, when confronted with a life-threatening situation and how everyone of us must stand to be prepared to meet our purpose when the time comes.
