There are statistics from the island of Crete that speak of men working into their 90’s! This is fascinating and due in large part to their great diet of locally sourced fishes, red wine, garlic and olive oil. Fish is a powerhouse at a relatively low cost in terms of cholesterol and saturated fats. Not to mention in a survival situation there really is no comparable food that will give you the protein for as minimal an amount of work.

SPONSORED BY MARK PITTMAN--Everywhere you turn, horror stories, new reports of health dangers, and diseases are being boldly dislayed informing us that our foods are not what they used to be. The promotion of organic foods" fat-free and sugar-free versions of foods are being pushed to the max under the guise of a healthier nation. of course, these new versions are much more costly and require huge adjustments to get used to, but the "experts" assure us--via terrifying reports, newly 'discpvered" health dangers, and high cancer risk data surveys that the extra money paid for these "improved" agricultural treasures will pay itself back tenfold in improved health. Flip that over to Black America, and note that money is not a commodity the nation allows those communities to have, and while a majority of that community survives with allotments and stipends of public funds, the only bang for their buck they can get is from 'super sales" of bulky fatty meats, snacks and sugary drinks that the nation says is the poisonous fruit to good health. Combine that with the not-so-hidden capitalistic agendas used by farmers, manufacturing, canneries and packaging companies, and the risks will continue to increase as the desires for more money does. Join us at 10:30 pm EST by calling 347-327-9967 to discuss healthier, economic dietary alternatives in our lives.
