Because of this the skills associated with asking for money and overcoming objections are prized but rarerer skills. Lets talk about it.

    I have worked with clients from a wide variety of non-profit and for-profit ventures, so I feel that that experience has made it possible for me to be more creative with account planning for current clients. I also work closely with a sales trainer to ensure that my clients have a saleable message and have the proper infrastructure and skills on the back end to make the most of their PR. I recognize that PR is one piece of a very big puzzle, so getting all of those pieces to work together is key. Of course, it involves clients wanting my advice on pieces of their brand or business that isn't strictly in the realm of public relations, which isn't always the case (sometimes people aren't interested in hearing about their broken sales process or improving their prospecting on LinkedIn). It also helps strategic PR to know how to help someone define their niche (again, if it doesn't scare them to tell them their market can't be "everyone"-- people have to want strategic PR for it to work).


    I am open to advice and input, whether it is from people who work for me or editors and producers, so I am constantly learning, improving, and adapting. I think not always believing that you know everything is the key to knowing everything (eventually).

    Are we selling our BIRTHRIGHTS, FOR WHAT?

    The birthright (the right or privilege to which a person is entitled by birth, American Heritage Dictionary) of every citizen of a country is the national heritage, national purpose, and reason for national courage. The birthright belongs to each citizen because he is a citizen. The value of the birthright depends of course upon the value and credibility of that nation.


    We have, therefore, a spiritual birthright. God has given to every believer in the church a royal heritage, a royal mission, and a reason for royal courage. This threefold birthright is a foundation for living the Christian way of life (Philippians 1:27-30). ESAU  gave into the cravings of his hunger - Genesis 25:29-34. He valued the red pottage more highly than his birthright. For temporary, physical pleasures Esau sold his birthright. What about you and I. Are we barginging with the devil for a tempory fix, when God has already promised us everything.


     Romans 8:16-17 tell us of the heirs we are.
