Guardian abuse: Laws protecting predatory guardians

    in Politics

This evening we will be focused on upcoming laws in New Mexico that will make legal (not lawful) the grip of predatory commercial fiduciary's one year after death of the elder victim.  Evidently this law is needed in NM due to the predators inability to loot the total estate prior to death in many cases.
Leonie Rosenstiel will join us from New Mexico to talk about the ongoing efforts in that state to legalize the theft of estates by "commercial guardians" and to allow New Mexico family and probate courts to continue holding secret meetings which adversely affect the targeted victim. These secret court proceedings are used to violate the rights of the victim and the extended family.

    Trucking Owner Operator Eligibility

    in Current Events

Many professional drivers have goals of purchasing a truck and operating their own business as an owner operator. Often, lack of financial resources or credit availability prevent many from moving forward. Regardless of these challenges, drivers will search for other means to obtain the finances needed in order to achieve their goals, some making decisions which will later prove to be detrimental to their careers.

Joe Hoovestol is the General Manager of Lone Mountain Truck Leasing and joins us as our guest to discuss the various choices available (good and bad) for those considering becoming an owner operator. Mr. Hoovestol will explain those variables which can determine if a driver is an eligible candidate to be a successful owner operator. We will also expand on those signs a driver needs to be aware of in order to spot a predatory lender, as well as vital information to understand before signing documents for truck leases, financial loans or purchases .

WebbWeaver Books Proudly Presents: Author Edward Freeland

    in Books

    ADAPT:

Ours is an age of unprecedented digital focus. None are safe from the invasive criminals hard at work in twisting innovation for their own predatory nature—not even Daniel O’Neal, a rural bus driver with easy dreams of living his life for old-fashioned love and purpose.

Adapt is the engrossing debut novel from Edward Freeland which tackles the subject of the media’s overwhelming influence on the individual and on modern day society. Through his unnerving narrative, Freeland asserts the belief that one of mankind;’s primal instincts is collectivization; in this case, that of a group coming together to target one, weaker, individual and essentially evolving into a mob mentality. Adapt explores the real horror of ‘anonymous’ bullying which has become so prevalent in our digital society, especially that through social media. Freeland highlights the fragility of our personal security online, revealing just how simple it is to hack into a strangers private information through any of their personal electronic devices. Chilling and thought-provoking, Adapt will entertain and enlighten, leaving readers guessing at the truth until the very last page
