Motivational Messenger and Life Coach LaShawn McCrary will be our guest speaker on this re-broadcast show. She says, "A person’s self image is established in one of two ways: intentionally by the individual or reluctantly by others. Deep within all of us there's a source of power that's beyond imagination. This power - our spirits, give us the ability to design and manifest our destinies. We are what we permit. Greatness is released with our permission – unfortunately, so is mediocrity. The choice is up to us. Her website is http://www.lashawnmccrary.com
Tonight's show we will be talking about having a great self image of yourself to develope success in your life. Often times we spend so much time trying to figure out whats wrong with us instead of attempting to look at what's good within ourselves. We must develope a great self image because that is the idicator to the world of what we think about ourselves. Our self image allows the gateway to who we believe we are in this world. No matter what the situation is we must be able to see ourselves better than the situations we are faced with.
This episode will be a free flowing conversation with The Grateful Girl, Heather Powers. We will explore the topic of body image and our societal distorted view of women's bodies and how the effects of the Media, Print and the Entertainment industry has brainwashed our culture into distorted versions of what is beautiful. We will also discuss the new emerging woman who is demanding to be seen in all her imperfections and stepping into her power and accepting and loving herself whole. There is a deep inner journey that one must go on to arrive in this place of total acceptance and self love. Come journey with us.
Heather Powers is an award winning, internationally acknowledged recording artist, author and speaker. She has travelled the world entertaining and encouraging audiences through her music and her dramatic life story of young adult trauma, chronic illness, eating disorder, drugs and eventually finding complete life transition and learning to live day to day on a new path.
Heather is currently working on her third album, singing and speaking to audiences about life transformation and producing conscious events abroad with her beloved and friend to the show, Jason Michael Henson.

If you don't always feel good about yourself, use the NEW YEAR to create a NEW SELF-IMAGE and IMPROVE YOUR CONFIDENCE!
The most common reason people lack SELF-ESTEEM is because they don't live up to the standard they think they should. Expectations are programmed into our minds by family, culture and environment and many times we don't know why we adopted certain standards or even consciously realize we have them.
Do you spend a lot of time watching TV...celebrity news and even following trends on Social Media, this could be the cause of your LOW SELF CONFIDENCE because you are absorbing other people's beliefs and standards. So RIGHT NOW think about WHAT YOU WANT and ACT ACCORDINGLY.
SELF-ESTEEM is how you...etc.
SELF-IMAGE is how you...etc.
SELF-CONCEPT is how you...etc.
SELF-ACCEPTANCE is ...etc.
We TEACH PEOPLE how to...etc.
Dr. Kirleen Neely joins me for the final segment in the series of shows on Self-Esteem. Today we'll be talking about how our 'backstory' impacts our confidence, assertiveness and perceptions about success, relationships and our own personal beauty. Tune in to hear more.

Many people have come to realize how their ego is causing them a lot of grief. They recognize ego mind is spiritually problematic. They invest a great deal of time improving their ego and modifying its behaviors, even if it is by force of their will to make their ego be a better character within their psyche.
This is important growth, too, isn't it? Yet, for all the efforting to make your ego more positive and not so negative, we must ask ourselves, "What precisely are we doing?"
Spiritually speaking are we freeing up our Higher SELF or is this behavior modification evidence of being more of our Higher SELF in our daily life?
Are we transforming or transcending? Is there a difference that matters? Do you want to have more clarity about this aspect of yourself so you can be more insightful?
Is control of your urges the epitome change that matters? If not, what is the Kahuna and why? Being a better person is part of the self realization process. But, what is its boundary or limit from our Spirit Side of being's point of view and understandings? I want to know more than I do regarding this subject. Listen to our show and deepen your insights.
