Bridges programming; Pope tells it like it is.

    in Energy

Finally, a Pope who is actually interested in what's going on here on Earth.  And, he is on the right track!  Economics should not control people, climate change is created by our behavior (burning of fossil fuels), people need to make choices that are life sustaining...  This kind of talk could almost make an agnostic, convert!  Almost.  Keep speaking out, Pope Francis!  Don't let the Catholic Republicans in our Congress shout you down.  They just want to hear your ideas on 'family values'.  That's not the whole 'book'.    We hope to have a couple of our regular guests join in at some point.  And will return to the 'Faustian Bargain'.  Which is appropriate, I think, when talking about politicians.

    The Pope

    in Politics

                                                            The Pope

Now the Pope must rewrite the Bible, because of the fact that Irland is now in disagreement with God and what is written in the Bible that do and it does concern same-sex marriage, homosexuality, crossdressing, and every immoral way of living alone with immoraity.

In 1917 the Soviet government had to rewite the Bible, in 1949 China had to do the same in 1950's North Korea had to do the same, in 1960 Cuba had to do the same, in 1975 Veitnam had to do the same.

Yes even nation that did just what Irland did had to do the very same and this is why we are talking about this in politics.

Well in truth religion has a lot that seals with government and has to deal with both moral and imoral things and just is moral and immoral in the ara of morality and immorality.

Seeing that the Pope is a vicar of Chirst and Vicar does mean to be a substitue; therefore the Pope is saying that he is better than God, and he can and is the only one who can rewite the Bible if he likes. This si what Irland wants him to do.

The 15 Diseases of Leadership, According to Pope Francis #6

    in Business

There is also a sort of “leadership Alzheimer’s disease.” It consists in losing the memory of those who nurtured, mentored and supported us in our own journeys. We see this in those who have lost the memory of their encounters with the great leaders who inspired them; in those who are completely caught up in the present moment, in their passions, whims and obsessions; in those who build walls and routines around themselves, and thus become more and more the slaves of idols carved by their own hands.

Join Johnnie as he discusses some of the most profound leadership qualities and how they can hurt or propel your career, business or corporation to new heights.

The 15 Diseases of Leadership, According to Pope Francis #5

    in Business

The disease of poor coordination. Once leaders lose a sense of community among themselves, the body loses its harmonious functioning and its equilibrium; it then becomes an orchestra that produces noise: its members do not work together and lose the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork. When the foot says to the arm: ‘I don’t need you,’ or the hand says to the head, ‘I’m in charge,’ they create discomfort and parochialism.

Join Daniel and Johnnie as they continue their journey is some of the most profound leadership qualities and how they can cause you to hurt you career, business or corporation.

Confederate Overload - Is the Pope a tree hugger?

    in Politics

Hr1   Can we stop with the Confederate Flag already? Apparently not. This snowball just keeps growing!
Dr. Carol Swain says there's nothing to be gained by pretending that part of our past (slavery) never existed. The Confederate Flag is a red herring detracting from real issues that need to be addressed. And she talks about school choice (or lack thereof) and the union's role in stifling choice.

Hr2   Gone with Gone with the Wind! Really? Well, we can't have people knowing about slavery or history or anything like that, can we?

Is the Pope a tree-hugger? Jimmy Akin, Senior Apologist at Catholic Answers says the Pope's new encyclical denounces radical environmentalism. Balance is key.

Hr3  It was just a matter of time (basically seconds, in this case)... Louis Farrakhan already called for the American Flag to be brought down because it's a symbol of racism.

Boston Bomber calls on Allah after hearing death sentence.   Too Late!

Jobs report update. It's not looking good. Rochester, NY is taking a big hit with manufacturing plant closure.

Professor says global warming won't hurt the earth.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.

Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting

The 15 Diseases of Leadership, According to Pope Francis #4

    in Business

The disease of excessive planning and of functionalism. When a leader plans everything down to the last detail and believes that with perfect planning things will fall into place, he or she becomes an accountant or an office manager. Things need to be prepared well, but without ever falling into the temptation of trying to eliminate spontaneity and serendipity, which is always more flexible than any human planning. We contract this disease because it is easy and comfortable to settle in our own sedentary and unchanging ways. Join Daniel and Johnnie as they dive into what most of us would consider micro-managing and how this disease can really cost you!
