When an idea hit Rich Behen while still in college he didn't push it aside. He graduated Northern Illinois University, went on to become a Certified Public Accountant and start his own accounting firm but continued to work on his idea.
Rich did not allow failures, lack of time or money to deter him. For 30 years he worked to bring his dream of a lightweight easy to mount plow for use on small vehicles (ATVs, Tractors, etc) to fruition.
In January 2012 he become the founder and CEO of Nordic Plow which in just over a year has been so successful that the estimated sales this year are $2.5 million.
You’re signing work – you’re negotiating pricing – you need to make a profit – but, what factors should you take into consideration as you finish up the process of booking your company’s work for this winter ? Rick Sippola works with snow contractors from all over the country – setting and adhering to budgets, negotiating lines of credit, justifying equipment purchases and establishing parameters for service that will allow for a viable profit. Also – what’s the best avenue to take for putting more equipment into service? Rent it, buy it, keep the old stuff, or outsource the work to Service Providers. Rick’s been there and done that. A CPA and former plow dealer owner – Rick has the experience and background to be an authority on the subject.
Pressed Down - Many are trying to press their way into Heaven. We think we have the good ground and that is our first mistake. None can have gthe good ground. Only one is good and that is God.
If you are able to hear a message and see the Life of Christ in it, you are getting closer to Heaven. If you are having a hard time listening, or staying awake for a message do you really want to know Christ?
You can have plenty of seeds, nut there are few that will take hold of the plow.
Jesus visited everywhere in the vineyard. He visited the wayside, he visited the stoney ground. He visisted the parts of the garden that the Levite and the Priest walked past.
God sent his Son to show us how to walk in the vineyard. He will know that he tried everything before he begins the end judgement.
What are you going to do in the vineyard?
Tonight, on a three sheets to the wind edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, we plow into a brand new week with absolute lunacy in the way only Texas and Florida can offer! First off, a 61-year old Texan gets drunk from the time he wakes up until the time he goes back to bed. Now while that's not breaking news, what is happens to be the fact that his stomach produces the same active ingredients as beer, due to a rare syndrome. While that may seem like a problem, his beer bill couldn't be lower!Next, speaking of wasted days and wasted nights, a 44-year old Texas woman has been sentenced to life in prison after receiving her sixth DUI since 1996. We'll learn how drinking and driving has become a career that's led to a bar tab no one expects to pay.Later, we ride the crazy train from Texas to Florida, where a man has been arrested for imprisoning and trying to perform an exorcism on his 80-year old girlfriend. That's it. Can't improve on that one bit. You'll just have to listen. And finally, on tonight's Cremo Cream Essentials, we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the classic Outkast double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below! All this and more, tonight on the Never Daunted Radio Network!
Tonight, on a Draft Day edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, we go ugly early with a quick recap of all the self-righteous indignation surrounding last night's MTV VMA's (Which at this point is more an oxymoron than ever). Then we plow right into the news with a report that measles outbreak has sickened 25 people in Texas, with most of the cases linked to a church led by the daughter of televangelist Kenneth Copeland. It's important to add that the outbreak is related to the church's belief that proper vaccination is responsible for autism, which is apparently less preferable to death.Next, need a reason to hate your job even more? The maker of Clif energy bars is one of a number of companies, that now offer workers sabbaticals. The practice, more common in academia, allows you to take a break from work after a given period, in order to recharge and hopefully return with innovative ideas and a renewed focus...or as I like to call it, "being treated like a human being."Later, Switzerland, long been for its mountaineering, chocolate and precision watches, but also legal prostitution since 1942, is taking customer service to new heights with the introduction of open wooden garages, popularly called "sex boxes" for drive-in customers. What'll they think of next? And finally, on tonight's edition of the Essentials, we celebrate what I believe could be the greatest album of all time: the soundtrack to Prince's Purple Rain. We'll share some cuts talk about how something so good can be used in a film so, so bad.All this and more, tonight on the Never Daunted Radio Network!
Tonight, on a clean-shaven edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, we welcome back former co-host Nikki from Omaha as she helps plow though a host of stories, kicking off with news that the body of a reclusive British woman was found dead in her home, littered with the carcasses of numerous pet cats and dogs that had been confined in the house and died of apparent starvation. But then investigators discovered something worse: Veal's remaining cats had survived by feeding on her corpse. Meow.Next, when it comes to personal grooming, women seem to have it worse than men when it comes to one specific area. Nikki talks about a new solution that might solve ladies problems, the Va j-j Visor. We'll learn how this disposible product, might solve a problem or two.Later, a Florida woman has started panhandling on the roadside -- not because she needs food or shelter, but because she wants larger breasts. We'll share the story of Christina Andrews, who is taking her need for heavenly hooters to the streets. Finally, from a Mile High to a personal low, a couple's luck runs out after being accused of engaging in sexual acts during an Allegiant Air flight to Las Vegas, according to court documents. We'll see how their sex-fuelled flight got them into hot water. All this, and more, tonight, on the Never Daunted Radio Network!

D.W. Moffett was born in Highland Park, IL, a northern suburb of Chicago. After attending Stanford University, where he majored in International Relations, he found himself back in Chicago, working as a Lending Associate in the Agribusiness Division of Continental Bank. On a whim (and perhaps a desire to leave visions of cattle-feeders in Colorado behind him) D.W. was lured to the St. Nicholas Theater Company, where he studied with, among others, William H. Macy. Shortly thereafter, having fallen in love with the stage, he became a founding member of the Remains Theatre Company. While at Remains he starred in, directed and/or produced over 40 productions including The Tooth of Crime, Moby Dick, Waiting for Godot , Woyzeck and Speed the Plow. After a long and successful career on stage in Chicago, he went with John Malkovich to do Balm In Gilead in New York City. He then starred opposite Brad Davis in Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart at the Public Theater for which he won critical acclaim. He appeared on Broadway in The Boys of Winter and The Real Thing and headlined the production of Contact at Lincoln Center in 2001. He was most recently seen on-stage playing opposite Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Ehle inThe Phialadelphia Story at the Old Vic in London. D.W. has had a long and successful career in film as well. He is most memorable in Bernardo Bertolucci's Stealing Beauty and won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Stephen Soderbergh's Traffic. He can currently be seen splitting his time on screen between Switched at Birth & Happily Divorced. He stops by to chat on Saturday, May 18, at 6pm EST.
