Coping with Time-Crunched Physicians
It’s not your imagination – you’re getting less time with your doctor.
Primary care physicians are in short supply in the United States, which means increased pressures and heavier workloads for those in practice, says Dr. Paul Griner, (www.drpaulgriner.com), author of “The Power of Patient Stories: Learning Moments in Medicine.” “Many physicians say their favorite part of being a doctor is the relationships they form with patients, but those are harder to cultivate now because physicians are so squeezed for time,” Griner says.
More than 80 percent of physicians said patient relationships were the “most satisfying” part of their job, according to a survey of more than 13,000 doctors last year by The Physicians Foundation.
But nearly 40 percent said they were seeing 11 to 20 patients a day, and nearly 27 percent had a daily load of 21 to 30. On top of that, they spent an average 22 percent of their day on paperwork that had nothing to do with patient care.
“A good doctor-patient relationship is essential to achieving the best possible care, but the reality is, most doctors have less and less time to spend with each patient,” Griner says. “So it’s important for patients to take some responsibility for that relationship, too.”
By preparing for your visit, you can ensure you make the best use of your time together, he says. Dr. Griner speaks with Joyce and Mike about how patients can prepare and optimize the time with their physician.

It's Treason!
It has now come down to this: the stand-down order to let the Benghazi embassy fall was an intentional and deliberate act of treason.
Someone wanted those people dead. There are various theories about who and why. Maybe it was to cover up the transfer of thousands of heat seaking missles to Al Qaida. Maybe it was a failed Obama-inspired plan to kidnap the ambassador and trade him for the "blind shiek." Whatever the motive, it all stinks to high heaven.
Hillary Clinton figures into this. Protecting the embassy (consolate, or whatever) was ultimately her responsibility. Then there is the Muslim occupier-in-chief (Barry Soetoro, Barack Obama, or whoever that guy with the fake birth certificate is).

It's Over, the Sheeple Have No Clue
The final nail is in the coffin. They killed The Constitution last week; the sheeple had no clue. Troops occupied Boston and Watertown MA. Houses were searched without warrants or probable cause. By design, the mainstream government propagandist media dropped the story.
Like the O.J. Simpson trial decades age, the Kermit Gosnell trial should be front page news—but it's not. It's got the same blood and guts horror, the same sensationalism, and a psychopathic killer with no remorse or emotion. The problem is that it makes people see the reality of abortion—the mass baby killing that is financed and promoted by the state. Kermit Gosnell was not an aberration. He is the norm, and they don't want you to find that out.
As if that's not enough, the horror of Obamacare gets closer. Being the sociapaths that they are, members of Congress are working furiously to exempt themselves from the train wreck that they created. As your host (and in need of medical care), I have had occasion to talk to some doctors this week. They all see big trouble brewing.

Defy, Not Comply
Tonight's featured guest is EW Jackson, conservative Republican candidate for Virginia Lieutenant Governor. He advocates a return to our constitutional form of government. Virginia should defy, not comply, with a tyrannical federal government.
Quoted from Jackson's campaign website:
"The EPA, The Patriot Act, NDAA, unelected and unconfirmed czars, sweeping executive orders, all of this and more are examples of a federal government gone mad. We need leadership in Richmond that is willing to stand up to Washington and say that we will DEFY NOT COMPLY with a federal government that seeks to trample upon our God given rights.
People across Virginia and America are fed up with a government that doesn’t respect the very principles our nation was founded on. They want leadership that will stand on principle and as Lieutenant Governor I will fight daily for our shared values." Call in with your questions and comments:

What's Fair About Taxes?
As this show airs, the Federal Income Tax filing deadline is ten days away. The income tax is undoubtedly the least efficient, unfair, corrupt, and expensive way ever devised to collect taxes. Actually, it is about more than taxes. It is about letting the government pry into, spy on, and control every aspect of your life--a massive invasion of privacy. With the IRS now linked to "Obamacare," the situation only gets worse.
Fortunately, there is a better way to collect taxes. The Fair Tax was devised to implement a simple, equitable, revenue neutral, and efficient system of tax collection where every individual is treated equally.
Steven Hayes, a national spokesperson for the Fair Tax, is our featured guest for the evening. He is here to explain the Fair Tax, why it is superior to the present system, and what you can do to get it implemented.
Further information about the Fair Tax is available from Americans For Fair Taxation.
