This is Beyond the Airwaves: The Infinity Project, where we go beyond the mainstream media and tackle issues that don't seem so important to the major networks.
Recently, Australian fashion model Meaghan Kausman slammed a swimsuit company for making her appear thinner than she actually was. She's not the only model lashing out at an industry that continues to photoshop images to create the illusion that only thin women are pretty. We'll talk about why the fashion industry won't live in the real world. Plus, with time permitting, we'll review the latest episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal and Doctor Who, and talk about other interesting topics.
Ikari Chaos-San is the founder and creator. Shirley is truly the Oddball Extreme. Janet is our resident Arizona Magician. Tim is the Tokusatsu Master. Heather is Queen Kitty Serenity. MikeBoyens is our video game wizard. We'll also have guest appearances by our friends from the MAD HOUSE, so come and listen in!
Visit our official website at http://beyondtheairwaves.weebly.com and don't forget to join in the conversation on the forums located on our official website. We want you guys and gals, the fans, to tell us what's on your mind and what you feel is important to cover, so let us know what you want to hear.

Everyone wants to be picture perfect...for the big day, the job interview, the first date, and other events and occasions that are important to us. In fact, we spend money on make-up, clothes, shoes, fat busting products, face creams guaranteed to take away the ravages of time, and other hocus pocus methodologies to make us...picture perfect.
The definition of picture perfect has changed over the years. In the past, painters created portraits for their clients. There weren't any cameras so they had their own version of Photoshop as they altered--just slightly mind you--the person's visage they painted to fit in with the time period's idea of picture perfect. Long slender necks, rounded shoulders, a corseted waist, and other alterations.
In today's episode of the right stuff, we're going to look at what it means to picture perfect with author Vanessa Riley. You can join by calling 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air. Or, you can download the WLUV radio mobile app today. Any way you can, join us.
Join Beat and Furby as they discuss the latest hollywood and internet craze "The Fappening" We will get to the bottom of this one way or another one beer at a time and figure out what's trill and what's bullshit. Join us, take a seat, and induldge us as we tell you which ones are real and which ones are absolute fakes, we are pro's when it comes to ass and titties, to this day we haven't been stumped by photoshop. Call in and let us know what you think. We will let you know which celebraties have gone from the A list to the D list if you know what I'm saying! Tune and enjoy! :P

Jaqwan Evbuomwan born in Bronx, NY, raised in Detroit Michigan. She has always had a zeal for photography and graphic design, but never knew it would be the very thing she would be pursuing as her life's goal. The youngest sister of three she always wondered what her gift was. Her Middle sister was passionate about teaching and, the oldest an amazing celebrity stylist. Ekiuwa was often very confused, so she began collecting photos online. She decided to start blogging, with her online blog EkiuwaJMagazine.com. The Blog had a steady flow of readers from all over the world, This is where her love for graphic design grew tremendously. She designed every aspect of her own blog, then others became interested in her designs. She didn't think much of it, and continued to pursue her degree in Psychology. She stopped blogging + graphic design altogether that was until 2012 where she moved to Hawaii with her husband and he pushed her to follow her TRUE dream. He noticed her keen eye for typography + design. So he taught her how to use professional designing programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and many other programs. Then a few months later he purchased her her first professional camera and from there she blossomed her love into a full time design studio.
