Tamara Laporte (also known as willowing) is a mixed media artist, illustrator and art teacher who loves making a mess and has an unhealthy obsession with brayering paint. Her work can be described as “mixed media folk art”. It ranges from whimsical children’s illustrations to a more stylised fantasy art. Love, mystery, innocence, hope, spirituality, kindness and self-connection inspires her art work. Her paintings often contain healing themes, uplifting messages and inspirational poetry.
She believes that the act of creating art can be a catalyst for healing and personal growth – often, her art classes contain an element of self development as well as learning art techniques. She is deeply passionate about helping people get in touch with their creative fire and would love to help YOU too to get in touch with the artist in you!
She is also a prolific art journaller and more recently, she’s started dabbling in the world of digital creations and has come to enjoy making paintings in Photoshop with a wacom tablet as well. Her work and articles have been published in several magazines and books.
She is based in Brighton in the UK with her lovely husband Andy and her 2 magical children Dylan & Elliot. She’s been teaching online art workshops since 2008 and her ning network has at present almost 13000 members and grows with about 150 mixed media enthusiasts a month!.

Doctors of the USA welcomes Dr. Johan Figueira, dentist-owner of Esthetic Dental Project USA-Venezuela, to talk about what’s the role of photography in the field of dentistry. Listen in as he shares the critical factors in making photography in dentistry a success: communication with your patient and team work.
With a natural curiosity and desire for knowledge combined with his innate talent, Dr. Johan Figueira has a passion for creating natural, beautiful and luminous smiles. Following his graduation from the School of Dentistry at the Central University of Venezuela, he attended Indiana University to learn the English language. It was during this time that Dr. Figueira was presented with the opportunity to train under the world-renowned Dr. Pascal Magne.
Dr. Figueira is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Venezuelan Society of Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials. In order to keep up with the constant evolution in the field of esthetic dentistry, Dr. Figueira continues to attend interdisciplinary courses to maintain his edge on delivering the best restorative dentistry. When he is not working on his many research projects, he is likely practicing photography and Photoshop with masters such as Scott Stulberg and Scott Kelby. All of which is done in an effort to improve his skills in “Digital Smile Design and Treatment Planning” and to provide the ultimate restorative care for his patients.

Sandra Chang-Adair is a self-taught artist that is passionate about delineating the beauty of the human form. She embraces fantasy art and eroticism in her paintings. In her earlier work, she enjoyed creating powerful, domineering women, often subjugating their male counterparts. Her recent characters are depicted as fairies, mermaids, knights, heroines and mythical characters in the steam punk genre. She loves interjecting subtle humor in her vignettes (often sneaking in her beloved dogs). Her medium of choice is digital, drawing from scratch and using Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. She also loves oils, acrylics and watercolors.
Tonight on SGT Skeptic Podcast, a facebook group trolls via photoshop, Nigeria enacts laws jailing homosexuals, Christians are upset to learn all religions can place statues at the Oklahoma state capitol, and a Fox News guest calls for satanists to be shot, cause Jesus. Tune in and call in. (646) 716-5999
Tonight, on a gamy edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, we close out another week with some more time on the soapbox. First up, today quasi-feminist blog Jezebel made an outrageous move with the offering $10,000 for pre-Photoshop images from Lena's Vogue shoot. The reason being that they don't believe the images are natural and somehow, they believe they're entitled to proof. We'll talk the numerous hypocrisies and why no one hates women more than other women.
Next, two weeks ahead of the Super Bowl, half of American sports fans say they believe God or a supernatural force is at play in the games they watch, according to a new survey. Fantastic. We'll talk about how some people actually believe that if there's a god, he's more concerned with point spreads than with saving lives.
Later, because you need more reasons to be horrified about surgery, we follow up last night's heart burning tale with news of a lawsuit claiming that a patient has been left in a vegetative state after his doctor walked out in the middle of his open-heart surgery to attend a lunch. We'll share the story of the unfortunate man who has yet to wake up from surgery, and likely never will.
And finally, ladies, are you still looking for the man of your dreams? A rugged, outdoorsy type? Well have I got the man for you: Amou Haji has not washed for 60 years, because he believes being clean will make him sick, and his favourite food is rotten porcupine. Oh and I forgot to mention...he likes to smoke cow poop. We'll learn more about this Iranian Pig Pen, and hopefully one of you out there is ready for some pungent love.
All this and more, tonight on the Never Daunted Radio Network!
We've got Kalen Arreola with us, the founder of Stars and Stripes Marketing and PR as well as Pinups for Patriots. She is an Army Veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and is active in the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation in San Diego, Calif., VeteransPlus in Tampa, Fla., Women Veterans of Colorado, Honoring Our Fallen, San Diego Military Affairs Committee.
We have some fun with a bit of pin-up quizzing and then come back with a big Q&A featuring Hugh Heffner and Playboy, since it was the magazine that made Alberto Vargas (a painter of pinups) so popular.
We mention the before and after pictures of pinup models and also a video of how photoshop modifies women's bodies.
Two and a half years of part-time research for both Paul Irey and Doug Vogt have resulted in their discovery of over 20 points of forgery on the Barack Obama II Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) and the birth certificate's short form.
How did the forger do it? Well, options in Adobe Photoshop called “unsharp mask” and “select color” are a couple of examples. What they've learned about the forgery could fill a book.
Funny thing that. Tonight, the book - seventeen chapters that cover technical evidence -- everything from the type, line spacing, the letters, the registrar’s stamp and seals, as well as the persons of interest. Who did the forgery and how SHE knew Barack Obama in Hawaii.
The book also includes information about the Sunahara lawsuit, the media, who is Barack Obama and the Communist plot to get him into office.
