What is your opinion? Do you really feel that you're ready to do the following for the next 20 years of your life? Wake up at 7am. Leave your house at 8am. Get to work at 9am. Get off of work at 6pm. Run errands until 7pm. Get home at 8pm. Say hello to your kids/spouse, eat dinner until 9pm. Get things prepared for the next day until 10pm. Go to bed at 11pm or 12am. And you do this for 5 or 6 days a week, 50 or 51 weeks a year (depending on how much vacation time you have). Here is the better question, is the money that you make on your paycheck worth this for the next 20 years?
I will be talking about this in different aspects. Not looking for callers, but if I get some I'll be glad to hear what you have to say.
The show will be lively, entertaining and informative. Call us

What are the roots and causes of Black on Black violence? And what is to be done about it?
Each year, roughly 7,000 blacks are murdered; 94 per cent of the time, the murderer is another Black person. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, between 1976 and 2011, there were 279,384 black murder victims .The 94 per cent figure suggests that 262,621 were murdered by other blacks.
Though blacks are 13 per cent of the national U.S. population, they account for more than 50 per cent of homicide victims. Nationally, the black homicide victimization rate is six times that of whites, and in some cities it is 32 times that of whites. Blacks are also disproportionately victimized by violent personal crimes, such as assault and robbery.

Today in our society there are those who believe many different things when it comes to heaven and hell. Some believe tht after you die you just cease to exist in annihilation, while others may believe you just go through a cycle of reincarnation. Others may believe hell is real but that after spending some time hell you will be cleansed and released and ultimately be able to get into heaven. But what does the Bible say about this.
Also what about heaven, some people think when people die they go to heaven and become an angel. Or that heaven will just be this place where we sit on the clouds all day playing on harps. What does the Bible teach us about heaven?

Join us for 'Monday Morning Joy' 2 10:00am for real life situations and challenges. One of our blog contributors (D. Dudley) shared in a recent blog post the following: "It can happen anywhere, at any time, and it is important to make sure all girls and even boys are educated on the dangers of it. Young girls today are not aware that human trafficking is growing and in some cases improving its craft. Some girls may not even be aware of how close human trafficking might be to where they live. As our society evolves and as people become more corrupt, human trafficking has become more present. As unfortunate as it is, while many girls think that it won’t happen to them, anything is possible in the world we live in today. Young girls today don’t realize that they put themselves in dangerous situations every day. Men AND women in this world take advantage of young girls and while someone may seem like they have the best intentions, often times they don’t.
We live in a time where danger lurks around every corner. As unfortunate as it is, women today have to be cautious in everything that they do. While it is okay and praised for a female to be independent, women should not mistake being ignorant to danger for being independent. No one is saying that women today should live in fear but to live with caution. It’s true that dangerous situations can happen at any moment no matter how cautious you are, but the more cautious you are the lower the risk of it happening to you."
Join us as we talk about our part to eradicate this social ill and others.
