Previewing the trade deadline for the Pacific Division, including tons of fake Clippers trades. Plus, a preview of the San Antonio/Golden State showdown, with host Nate Duncan (@NateDuncanNBA) and Danny Leroux of RealGM and the Sporting News (@DannyLeroux).
Kevin Pelton (@KPelton), Dan Feldman (@DanFeldmanNBA) and Danny Leroux (@DannyLeroux) join Nate Duncan (@NateDuncanNBA) for a mock trade deadline extravaganza. The four negotiate and agree to trades in real time, with names like Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Danilo Gallinari, Jeff Teague, Al Horford, Hassan Whiteside, Pau Gasol, Ryan Anderson, Markieff Morris, and many more potentially on the move.
Guards Jeff Teague and Tyreke Evans have been added to the list of difference makers available on the NBA’s trade market with the deadline less than three weeks away.
The trade market is loaded with forwards such as Rudy Gay, Ryan Anderson, Markieff Morris, Terrence Jones and Corey Brewer.
Trades talks will heat up closer to All-Star Weekend in two weeks when all the general managers are on hand.
Three players who won’t be making the trip are Damian Lillard, Pau Gasol and Hassan Whiteside, which is hard to fathom based on their statistics.
With that in mind, Mike Scotto of SheridanHoops.com joined Sportsnet 590 The Fan radio to discuss the latest on trade rumblings, All-Star snubs and what the Clippers will do with Blake Griffin.
We talk about Bob Mac's confirmation that Isles not likely to trade UFAs and much more
With a lot of my team's coming out of the gate slowly I was looking for anyone who could help my teams get better. That meant some trades. With only 16 NFL games I find people are a little more hesitant to trade players.
Tonight we'll give you some tips on making a deal and who you should be going after!.

Join Ray Owczarzak in welcoming an old friend Doug Ludemann. Doug and I worked together a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. (Sorry for the reference). Doug has years of experience in the public and private aquarium fields and currently owns and operates Fish Geeks.
I’ve wanted to do a show on the ethical issues involved in the aquarium hobby and field for some time. When I first began my pet trade career at the age of 16 at a small mom and pop shop in Illinois, I was wide eyed and ignorant to the dark side of the trade. I sold snake head after snake head destined for home tanks without any thought about the possible impacts. Now that I live in Maryland, where the snake head makes advances year after year in waterways, I wonder about my past actions.
What other dark secrets are there in the aquarium hobby? I think, in retrospect, that any financial endeavor that requires the sale of live animals inherently has a few dark secrets. In fact, they are too numerous to mention in an hour show, but we will give it a shot.
Don’t get me wrong, I believe that the industry and hobby have many ethical companies and the preponderance of hobbyists are top notch. But as the saying goes, a few bad apples… Hopefully the discussion will provide some food for thought on the businesses that listeners use. Making ethical choices are up to the end consumer. We as a people have the best chance at guiding the future. So don’t just sit back be a Witness, but make a change for the better. As always, I hope that people join in the conversation and call in with thoughts and stories.
