4/26/15 - RLSN Milwaukee Baseball Report presented by Coach E-Dubs Fitness/LOF

    in Baseball

It’s week three of the 2015 season and the Milwaukee Brewers are averaging just one victory a week. At this point last year the Brewers had 18 wins, at the pace they are going right now, they won’t reach 18 wins until August. I doubt they will continue their one win a week trend until then, but it has been a rough season so far. The Milwaukee Brewers placed two more on the DL, Catcher Jonathon Lucroy and second basemen Scooter Gennett. Gennett now owns the weirdest injury of the 2015 season as he cut his hand reaching for body wash in the Pittsburgh Pirates shower last Sunday and Lucroy suffered a fractured toe after taking a foul tip off of it catching on Tuesday.

In this weeks episode of the Milwaukee Baseball Report, Evan will recap the past week in the Brewers season and discuss if there is any hope to savage the season. He will also give his good, bad, and ugly of the week.  This show us brought to you by Coach E-Dubs Fitness and Legend of the Fields.

Chat:PON DE CORNER with Winston Jarette , Keith Poppin, Fay Bennett

remembering famous music hang out in Jamaica

Live Chat : PON DE CORNER remembering  famous music hang out in Jamaica chatting with  Fay Bennett Specialist in 'Rude Reggae'. Daughter of Reggae saxman Val Bennett.Punnany.Keith has been hard at work in the studio over the past few months, cleaning up a few rare archive gems from the vaults, as well as finishing up the final vocal mixes on some brand new tracks. Look for a new release in the spring of 2015, with over 20 new songs, as well as extensive liner notes and pictures. Osceola Recording Studios in Raleigh, where Keith has done some of this work, has hosted sessions with Gnarls Barkley, 9th Wonder, Velvet Revolver, Blues Traveler and many more.

ROOTS artiste Keith Poppin earned a reputation in the early 1970s as having one of the smoothest voices in reggae. In 1973, Poppin (born Keith Smith) released his first solo single called Same Thing for Breakfast, which became his signature piece.Previously, he was a member of the Rocking Horse band. The song earned him recognition by topping the Jamaican chart as well as ethnic charts in Britain. One year later, he scored another hit with Envious.Throughout the 1970s, Poppin maintained a steady flow of quality songs including Someday Girl, Why Make Believe, Whenever There is Moonlight, and Who are You, which made the British national chart in 1976.In 1980, Poppin became the first act signed to reggae star Peter Tosh’s Intel-Diplo record label but after Tosh’s death in 1987, he took a break from recording, though he appeared twice in the Popular Song Contest.During the early 1990s, Poppin moved into producing other acts and promoting stage shows with his company Jungle Lion. He currently resides in the United States and recently released his latest album Journeys.
