Is Loneliness a Choice and How Does Loneliness Affect Us?

    in Motivation

    Liam asked this question about Loneliness;

Nadia, I don't know if you have a topic for tomorrow. On this day you feel anything but lonely, it been your birthday but what about those who feel on the periphery of life, suffering with chronic loneliness? I read a Huffpost post about it today and in that post it stated that loneliness is more deadly than obesity. You spoke in todays show about meeting new people and trying new things but for those who feel lonely even around others they can feel isolated from the flock so to speak. What does the truth have to say for the lonely soul? Is it as Christ said in Origins of Truth "They are alone as they have earned" or is that taking those words out of context and there is more to it than that. From my point of view those alone want to be alone yet they suffer and obviously want to feel part of something. Again its not a one sentence answer. How do we deal with the lonely also? Christ said in Origins of Truth that we can welcome those who are without and welcome them into our group and not to blame them for been without (paraphrasing). I remember Christ also said "no-one is meant to be alone, not even those who want to" but as the Huffpost post stated "one in five Americans suffers from persistent loneliness". One in five is a lot not meant to be's Nadia.......................if you want to use this topic feel free.

Heroes of Katrina: Ten Years After - Pets and Storms

    in Books

Call in or ‘log in’ Tuesday Evening May 5th at 8:00 p.m. eastern and 7:00 p.m. central time, 6:00 p.m. mountain time, and 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.

Welcome to the Heroes of Katrina: 10 Years After

    Pets and Storms

The demographics and statistics are amazing.  There are 2.5 animals (cats/dogs…etc. for every American home).

When a population of almost a million evacuates an area and is forced to leave their pets behind…the result is 2.5 million animals…homeless…ownerless…destitute.  This was the situation during and after Hurricane Katrina.  Indeed the animal issue was largely overlooked by all the rescuing agencies Federal and otherwise.

After Katrina, the animal population was largely overlooked within the rescue and aid infrastructure.  All of the guests on Tuesday's show were on the ground and dedicated to the rescue of the animals left behind.

With hurricane season starting June 1st, this show is timely and hopefully can be used as a resource for the animal lovers of the Gulf Coast.

Please join us this very special evening as we welcome our returning guest, Award Winning Author Jenny Pavlovic.  We will discuss an extremely important topic....preparing our beloved pets for a hurricane.  Jenny Pavlovic, animal rescuer and author of the award winning book, “The 8 States of Hurricane Kate,” will share very valuable advice and insight regarding the necessary precautionary measures needed to safeguard our furry friends and all animal creatures BEFORE a hurricane strikes. Hurricane season is fast approaching - June 1 through November 30, 2015. It's not too early to listen and learn what to do in advance. Please don't wait until it's too late. Feel free to call in and share, comment, question, discuss with Jenny.

    in Self Help

THE INFINITE POWER OF INNER PEACE THAT CAN HEAL THE PAIN FROM CHILDHOOD

I am currently working on a book that addresses the healing of the pain of our childhood challenges and/or issues...What childhood pain are you still holding onto that if you are able to recognize and eliminate you'd be able to create the life you desire on every level? What will it take for you to recognize it and overcome it? What else is possible? How does it get even better than that? (questions: access consciousness tools to live by) What dreams do you have that continue to elude you? what conscous or unconscious pain or heartache are you unable to identify, that perhaps keep some sort of sadness, anger, fear, frustration, stagnation? What's missing in your life and is it because of the things that happened in your childhood that you never addressed or resolved; and are blodking your path to true happiness, success and/or fulfillment? Come, walk with me as we explore the possibility of inner peace to heal the pains that come from some painful experiences that happened to us when we were children. Grab a copy of my book: "The Infinite Power of Inner Peace" by calling me at 1-773-796-9021 to order your discounted autographed copy or shoot me an email at: marjoriemotivatesme@yahoo.com I look forward to discovering and implementing the path to the healing of our childhood issues or challenges blocking our way today!

Dr. Eric Pearl - author of The Reconnection - Heal Others, Heal Yourself

    in Women

Dr. Eric Pearl, founder of The Reconnection, has been featured in top media including The Dr. Oz Show, The New York Times and CNN. He has presented at leading venues including the United Nations and Madison Square Garden. His internationally bestselling book, The Reconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself, now in 39 languages, has been endorsed by such notables as Deepak Chopra, MD and Wayne Dyer, PhD.

At the World Congress of Quantum Medicine Conference in Hawaii in 2013, Dr. Pearl’s keynote presentation was the highlight of the event. As the foremost visionary, leader and pioneer in the field of “Energy Medicine” or “Quantum Healthcare,” he is increasingly sought out as a speaker, expert authority and media spokesperson. As science, medicine, media and the public come to embrace Energy Healthcare, Pearl stands at the forefront.

Dr. Pearl was running a successful chiropractic practice in Los Angeles when a series of unusual occurrences led him to realize that his purpose was far beyond anything he had previously known. Patient after patient reported healings from cancers, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other severe health conditions, simply when Dr. Pearl held his hands near them.

Seeking to understand what was happening, Dr. Pearl consulted with leaders in science, medicine, and spirituality – discovering they did not have the answers either. Supported by researchers affiliated with multiple prestigious institutions including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, Dr. Pearl went on to pioneer studies on the Reconnective Healing frequencies and their effects on people – a comprehensive healing approach, which completely transcends “energy healing” and its complex rituals and techniques – known around the world today as Reconnective Healing.

When our pets get sick, what else can we do?

    in Pets

When our pets get sick, we get very worried. Usually we are much more inclined to run to the vet with our pets than we were running to the doctor for ourselves. And how often when we do that are we actually ending up not knowing what exactly was ‘wrong’ with our pet in the first place? So what is that? Are our animals sick when they are showing symptoms?

You might say, of course they are, and that is also correct in many ways! And there are also these mysterious things that can be much stronger then we expect. Charlie has his own history of dis-ease, and since he started to be the host of this show, it has flared up again in a dynamic way!

So what might that be about? What are our animals facilitating that we have not been acknowledging? And how can we assist them?
