America: The Realest Nigga in the Room

    in News

If someone were to define, or give you examples of what makes a real nigga a real nigga, here are some of the things you would hear:  "A real nigga gets money."  "A real nigga represents for his hood."  "A real nigga doesn't snitch."  Many people view those that slang dope (sell drugs), tote pistols, rob, and even kill, as "real niggas."  When you listen to some rap music, and particular rappers rap about violence, drugs, guns, women, or as they would say, bitches, and they live the life that they are trying to sell to you, they're viewed as "real niggas."  For example:  Deceased New Orleans rapper, Soulja Slim, lived his life just as his lyrics suggested.

Therefore, he is a certified "real nigga" in the eyes of many.

If these descriptions match what a nigga is than you America are the biggest nigga/thug/goon on the planet.

"A real nigga gets money." How much public funds are being funneled into privatization? How many under-privileged minorities have been sold into the prison industrial complex system? Who benefitted financially from the so-called War on drugs? Who  is benefiting from treating the sick instead of curing them? What happened to the CEO of Turing after increasing the price of the AIDS pill from $1 a pill to $750? What about oil? The goon called American foreign politics strong arms African nations into petroleum and other mineral contracts crippling the autonomy of those countries. Uncle Sam gets money while living day to day in debt.... just like niggas right? Horrible credit? Check. Massive debt? check. Selling dope? Check. Spending large sums of cash on unnecessary things? Check. Sounds like a nigga to me!

    Talking Points and Messaging

Vancouver Energy is a vital project for the State of Washington and the United States.

It promotes U.S. energy independence with infrastructure needed to supply West Coast refineries with North American crude oil. The project has the potential to displace 30 percent of foreign imported crude oil currently coming into West Coast refineries.

Vancouver Energy will provide family-wage jobs and billions of dollars in economic benefit to our community, our state and the Northwest over the life of the project.

Jobs now. Vancouver Energy is going through the rigorous EFSEC process. While necessary, it’s painfully slow. We need to keep the EFSEC process moving.

    Executive Summary:

No reasonable alternative – “The comprehensive view of alternatives did not identify any alternatives that were found to be reasonable alternatives to the Proposed Action.  No alternatives were found to clearly show a lower environmental cost or decreased level of environmental degradation than the Proposed Action.”

Current demand would continue – “Under the No Action Alternative, the current demand by West Coast refineries for mid-continent North American crude oil would continue.  The demand would require continued transport of crude oil by existing transportation modes (including pipelines, tanker trucks and rail)…”

EPS: 28.. The role of Pharmaceuticals in Bioterrorism & intentions behind it

    in Environment

    Episode 28

Join UIF Founder Tim Ray and his guest Dr. William Croft and Dr. Miriam Croft as they discuss the role of pharmaceuticals in Bioterrorism and the intentions behind it on UI Radio.

William Croft was raised on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin and as he experienced life developed a compassion for nature and humanity. Because it is not ethical to study human disease directly in humans, and animals must be used, in 1970 he obtained a DVM degree from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul. Then in 1975 he obtained a PhD in Medical Pathology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, which gave him the tools to study the cause and effect relationship of human and animal illnesses. Employed as an anatomical pathologist on the UW-Madison faculty he obtained over $900,000 in grant resources from the NIH, EPA, NCI and other organizations, including the U.S. Department of Defense, to study human disease regarding early detection, diagnosis, mechanism of action and possible therapeutic methods which gave him valuable experience and insightful information concerning human illness. Dr. Croft also investigated environmental medical health emergencies related to pesticides, solvents, petroleum, heavy metals, phenol, asbestos and toxic mold found in sick buildings.

The Price of Oil, Currencies and the Economic Crisis

    in Self Help

The price of oil has fallen below $40 a barrel. While the lower cost of gasoline is making it easier for us to get around, and keeping prices of transported goods lower than they would be otherwise, the are serious problems with oil being so low in price.

The oil price reflects increased production, but that is not the main reason for it lowering. Demand is decreasing. Further, with new energy technologies being introduced, the demand for petroleum products will decline even more.

The dollar has been tied to oil, and forced on the oil trade until recently. Now other currencies are being used to buy and sell oil. The dollar has actually strengthened as it and the U.S. stock market have still been the “safe havens” for money around the world during a time of economic uncertainty.

However, the debt bubble may be about to burst, which could seriously change the world’s financial markets, including the consumer market.

Economic change of major proportions is unfolding. Preparations are required to come through this without devastation.

    in Education

Hideko (Eko) Nagashima, a Japanese origin, an American citizen. founded Non-profit organization, SWACIN Inc. in Japan and U.S. after she met a life-threatening domestic violence by her ex-fiance and the poor people in Niger Delta, Nigeria saved her life.  Her daughter still awaits her in the midst of Niger Delta, Nigeria where the worst case of environmental pollution, poverty, corruption, and violence are practiced in Africa. Niger Delta is the very place Government of Japan prohibits its citizens to enter. In her mind, though, there was no choice, she had to go to Niger Delta even if that means to lose the Japanese citizenship, and decided to choose an American citizenship...
