The President had very little chance to bask in his electoral victory before CIA Director David Petraeus dropped his resignation bombshell. The right wing spin machine immediately pounced on the fishy timing of it. We think there's something amiss, too -- but not for the same reasons as the people at Fox News. Cynematic, Karoli, Julie Pippert and Donna Schwartz Mills also talk about the fiscal cliff, the next Congress and the crybaby petitions for secession.
Examination of media coverage of Attorney General Loretta Lynch, General Petraeus' disclosure of classified information to his paramour, and the protests against police violence in Baltimore. 6:30p EST on April 27, 2015. The call in number is 347-857-1436.

Former General & CIA Director David Petraeus splits with Obama; says Iran, not ISIS, is the real enemy; But that doesn't mean ISIS isn't going to destroy us; Putin is following a blueprint that dates back to Philip of Macedon; How Putin will reconquer the Baltic States and end NATO; Unlike congressional Republicans, board-game lovers at least know how to set a goal and think three moves ahead; and why Ted Cruz should try speaking to people instead of at them.
There can be no free society without trust; Did DOJ like to Judge Hanen? Is Bill Clinton pestulantly sexually incontinent?; Obama invents whatever excuse he can to break with Israel; Obama is cozying up to Erdogan and the mullahs instead of helping our beleaguered allies; Democrats are suddenly acting as if we must either strike a bad deal with Iran or "rush to war" - ironic, since the former will lead inevitably to the latter; David Petraeus puts the "icing" on Benjamin Netanyahu's Iran "cake"; and the Saturday Afternoon Extravaganza loses its flagship.

Organizers in France estimated that upwards of 3.7 million people attended a Sunday unity rally in Paris in response to the attack on the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. Among those marchers were a variety of world leaders, but President Barack Obama was not among them. Nor did the president send any ranking administration officials to represent the United States. Not even Attorney General Eric Holder, who was in Paris at the request of French authorities, attended the march. The United States was utterly absent from this global event.
And... Gen Petraeus on the hot seat again.
That and more as we begin another week.
