If you're like us (which narcissistically we assume you are) then you've been counting the days to the start of the 2014 season for the Pirelli World Challenge! We are happy to report that our wait is over. No longer must we download YouTube videos, or playback DVR highlights from 2013! All the speculation and excitement around this season in GT/GT-A/GTS has come to fruition. It's all happening this weekend on the marina-side streets of beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida! We've put together one hell of a kickoff celebration, with a couple of the series' best examples of personality meets pro-racing....
First the unbridled comedic character of our buddy the "Hard-Charger" - Chris Sneed of Sneed Speed... Then the unbelievably talented, and amazingly funny Alex "Cobretti" Figge! - Both with some very cool, and unique opinions on the sportscar racing world as we know it. We'll peer into our World Challenge fantasy future with Chris, and get the lowdown on being the new K-Pax McLaren's fighter pilot from Alex. If you like badass cars and the Stallone classic Cobra (And who doesn't?- Cobretti wants to know), then this is an interview you need to hear. Honestly with all the great street racing action about to go down in St. Pete, and the ridiculously stacked grid this season, can you afford to miss this episode? Fuel up, charge up, and get ready to rock... THE PIRELLI WORLD CHALLENGE IS ON!
We thank you all deeply for the opportunity to continue to bring the streaming world this content. Your support and interaction means the world to us. Tweet us @thewheelmenshow.
We're about to go international up in here! Chris Adam joins us in the Geek Pile studio live from Denmark!! Holy cow!
I knew Chris was working for Volvo there, but when I asked for links he had this to say "I got like, no links. All my cool Volvo stuff is kinda secret."
We're pretty sure with a title like "User Experience Specialist at Volvo R&D" that Chris could indeed be creating the beloved "Johnny Cab" from Total Recall! How cool is that! Good Job, man! We love that guy. One can only hope that he will also have the foresight to put an arcade-style joystick under that animatronic-talking-interface, JUST like it was in that awesome film!! But, more than likely, Chris is just a huge geek like most "Filmmaker, Art Directors and User-Interface-designers" tend to be. Here's more on Chris ...
Chris Adam Lives in Copenhagen, married, two boys. Volvo crated his satellite office to concentrate on bringing Volvo out of a (possible?) downfall and into the modern age - to figure out what will set Volvo apart from the competitors in 10 years time and assure their survival - and then build it. Otherwise he's an experienced web designer, illustrator, animator and general design machine. He reads lotsa books and comix. BIG series watcher. Movies of course. Music for sure. They like to spin some vinyl at home, and he's a regular toker. Enjoys making cannabis oil for sick friends, following Bitcoin a little bit.
Yup, huge geek. So, it'll be a great show!

Gulruh Turhan and Ozlem Kiyat Berber host Lider Lig. Their guest this month is Arzum Akduran Koseoglu, talking about courageous conversations.
During her professional managerial life of more than 10 years, she held different roles in marketing, operations, customer relationship management, quality improvement and employee development, mostly in leisure and hospitality sectors. Arzum, passionate about organizational development, decided to work and grow in this area, and focused on her organizational dynamics and behavioral sciences studies.
She founded her company; “Luma” (light in esperanto), to deliver organizational consultancy services in the beginning of 2004, focusing especially on “brand delivery” and “organizational performance development” projects. Working as a consultant, she realized that executives and organizations usually “know” what needs to be done, but “don’t do it” most of the time. She got curious about methodologies that might help people and organizations to discover their genuine barriers towards their goals and transform them. A research led her to her coaching studies.
She works as an executive, leadership development, team and relationship systems coach, mostly in corporate environment, in industries such as; banking and finance, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, technology, construction, consumer goods, leisure, etc... and some NGO’s specializing in education and environment. She also designs and facilitates experiential workshops on leadership, management, relationships, team efficiency, and personal development.
Some of her clients include: Boehringer-Ingelheim, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Volvo AB, Garantibank, Denizbank, Alcatel, Avea (One of the 3 GSM companies in Turkey), Emuge-Franken, L’Oréal, and many others.

Throughout the 80's and 90's, The area around Seattle, Washington was gripped by fear. Fear that a serial killer was freely roaming the streets killing prostitutes. Many of the victim’s remains were found in the area of the Green River giving name to the nameless, faceless killer. In 2001 police were finally able to arrest a man named Gary Leon Ridgway as he was leaving his job at the Kenworth plant in Renton, Washington and he eventually admitted to and was convicted of killing a total of 48 women, but he confessed to killing even more. As part of a plea bargain that spared him the death penalty, Ridgway agreed to show authorities where he had dumped his victims’ bodies. Up until now Ridgway refused to speak to the press but he did have contact with one man, a former Air Force OSI investigator who believed that the victims’ families deserved to know where their loved ones remain ended up. He formed an organization of volunteers who have spent weekends for the past five years combing through the brush, using technology and information from Ridgway himself to uncover the secrets of the Green River Killer. Our Guest in this episode is that man, Rob Fitzgerald founder of Cadaver Team who will tell us his story and explain why he has continued the search for the Green River Killer’s victims long after the authorities gave up.
Also in this episode we welcome back economic expert, Author and NewsMax.com Contributor Todd Wood who gives us an update on the effects of Obamacare on the U.S. economy.
