Tonight your Host and Medium Pamela Marie Edmunds will be interviewing Author Sheri Perl. They will be discussing Sheri's book called "Lost and Found."
More About Sheri Perl;
Reverend Sheri Perl is an Interfaith Minister, a published author and a spiritual healer/advisor. She has studied, practiced and taught various spiritual disciplines for over forty years, having travelled a unique and diverse path. Her life changed at the age of 20, when after being gravely ill, she received a ‘miraculous’ distant healing from well-known English spiritual healer Harry Edwards, who then became her teacher and confidant.
Her work as a spiritual healer and bereavement counselor has touched thousands of lives all over the world and has brought widespread acclaim and gratitude. Sheri began The Prayer Registry in 2009 after her son died unexpectedly and has turned her own grief into the power to heal, soothe and comfort others so afflicted. Her work with psychic mediums has opened doors and allowed loving communications with her son, her father and others who have crossed; and she has made this an integral dynamic in her bereavement work. It is in these arenas that her compassion and sensitivity clearly shines and her ability to heal physical and emotional travails is her ministry.
She continues to advise teach and consult through her Internet writings and her website and through guest appearances on radio shows, in lecture halls and in interfaith classrooms. Sheri frequently opens her home to gifted spiritual mediums and invites friends, relatives and guests to experience the incredible feeling of touching the afterlife.
Sheri has studied with some of life’s great spiritual teachers including Jane Roberts and Seth, and has assimilated diverse disciplines with her own unique perspective to present her own world and other worldly view.
Rebecca Perl is a singer/songwriter from the exotic tropical paradise we call Long Island, New York. Her music falls within the acoustic/light rock genre, with a blues twang. Rebecca brings a brand new feel and an original vibe to the female acoustic music scene. Rebecca grew up in a very musical environment where music had become such a deep rooted part of who she was and is today. Rebecca began playing the guitar, singing and songwriting at age 13. She put her first band together in 2010, where her simple acoustic songs transformed into rock music. Shortly after, Rebecca began exploring new ways to evolve her acoustic songs with the integration of sax and bass guitar.. It turned out that the blues ambience was exactly what she was looking for. It finally began to make sense. As a trio, she has conquered performing all over the New York City and Long Island area and bringing the music complexity from the past into the popular music of today. She has played in venues such as Irving Plaza, Highline Ballroom, Hiro Ballroom, The Bitter End, Ollie’s Point, Le Poisson Rouge, Dominion, Wicked Willy’s, Arlene’s Grocery, and many many more. She was recently honored to sing the national anthem for her hometown team, the NY Islanders. She has toured with Ryan Cabrera, Olivia Newton-John, Aaron Carter, and more!
Today's guest, Puma Perl, fresh off the 20th annual Alternative New Year's Day Spoken Word/Performance Extravaganza. Want to know what it's like to stage a massive poetry event? You're going to want to hear what this lady has to say about it. And hear her talk about her poetry and performance work in New York City.
In 1967, at the age of 16, Sheri Perl was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a chronic disease that attacks the small and large intestine. After two years of traditional medical treatment, 1969 found Sheri fighting for her life on the operating table, only to contract Hepatitis C from blood transfusions. By the time she was 20, desperation paved the way to an open mind and Sheri contacted the late British Spiritual Healer Harry Edwards and her health and life turned around. Sheri experienced a dramatic healing of the body and an even greater healing of her soul as she awoke to the presence of spirit. From that time on Sheri began to explore and study spiritualism with an emphasis on spiritual healing and mediumship.
In 2008 Sheri’s middle child, her son Daniel, passed of an overdose of alcohol and prescriptions drugs at 22 years of age. This is an agonizing road to have to walk and Sheri suffers his loss as any mother would, however her knowledge of spirit gave her the direction that she needed because in Sheri’s words, “I knew how to find and connect-up with my son in the next world.”
If you would like to be inspired, join us on Wednesday October 3rd for Sheri Perl’s Show. Her experiences and wisdom will most assuredly raise your hopes and give you reason to ponder!
