Anchor/Journalist/Host, Suzanne Marcus Fletcher, interviews Chase “Iron Eyes” of “Last Real Indians” and the Oceti Sakowin (Great Sioux Nation ) who advocated to save, and return to the Great Sioux, nearly 2,000 privately owned acres: a sacred swath of earth known simply as Pe’ Sla. A mere 9 million was required to purchase Pe’ Sla and return it to its true owners within a four month time-slot (Nov. 30 2012). Without this victory, Pe' Sla would have permanently been lost to land developers. The Sioux Nation raised the requisite 9M from their own indigenous, and non-indigenous, peoples and organizations of every creed and color worldwide. The following text is wholly credited to the Shakopee Sioux Community press release of 11/30/12...."The Rosebud Sioux, Crow Creek Sioux, and the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community gathered in a historic assembly of related Tribes to reacquire the sacred site, Pe Sla. Pe Sla is sacred because it is related to the Lakota Creation. Today, the reacquisition is a healing and historic event for the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota people....”
Pe’ Sla remains a critical power-spot and ceremonial grounds where worshipping the Land and its celestial connections are the very “Heart Of All That Is.”

Shalom Ladies, and welcome back to Bhyy radio. Tonight, we'll be discussing the importance of Yah's mercy and compassion in our lives. Sometimes we feel unfulfilled, unappreciated, unhappy and empty. The cause of these feelings stem from a number of things and we will discuss these in detail. But primarily, it comes with not understanding how much we are worth to Yah.
Deut. 23:5 < Yah Loves You
1 Pe. 5:6-9 < Yah is Concerned about You

That's pretty much the way that we see most pe o people. Either they stress themselves out over every little thing, or they seem like they just don't care. Is it possible to not care?

Just imagine – at risk young people with few prospects suddenly presented with the chance to go to camp. That was Abby Sondak’s dream. Working in Washington DC’s inner city public schools, she saw plenty of kids with limited opportunities. Abby decided to do something about it. She started her own non-profit to send kids to camp so that they could enjoy the same carefree and enjoyable summer fun that she experienced. Starting with two campers in 2011, Abby decided to create her own non-profit, Just Imagine. Her campers have flourished and the organization has grown.
Just Imagine was incorporated in 2012 with the goal of being able to provide as many wonderful D.C. Public and Charter school students with the summer experience of a lifetime. With the help from friends, family, camps and other supporters, nine students were able to attend sleep away camp that summer. That grew to 14 camp scholarships for the summer of 2013 and 22 students with scholarships in 2014. This summer, 45 children will receive scholarships to camp.
Abby Sondak graduated from the University of Maryland in 2009, and began working for a non-profit organization called Playworks. During her time with Playworks, she worked in inner city public schools in Washington DC, creating a safe, inclusive environment for children to play with one another. Following her time with Playworks, she was hired as a PE Teacher at E.W. Stokes Public Charter School in NE DC. She completed a Masters in Elementary Education in May, and has recently been hired as the Development and Communications Manager at Stokes.
Join Mark and Carolyn, as we hear Abby’s inspiring story. She’ll tell us how her desire to meet student’s dreams resulted in a non-profit that touches the lives of at risk kids.
Y he aquí vino una voz a él, diciendo: ¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?
To enter into the "THIRD HEAVEN" is not an act that can be accomplished by one's own might (strength) or power (ability); but it is an "ACCESS" granted by the Spirit of the TRUE and LIVING GOD.
One is "CAUGHT UP" in the "THIRD HEAVEN" involuntarily (unconcious and unintentional).
The "THIRD HEAVEN" is where ELOHIM (GOD our Creator and Maker) dwells/lives and where HE (GOD) releases unto those "GRANTED ACCESS" utterances (DIVINE counsels and strategies) of HIS KINGDOM to be implemented here on planet earth to advance HIS KINGDOM.
Paul Cobb grew up in West Oakland and attended Howard University and spent time in the southern Civil Rights Movement, then returned to the Bay Area and was a founding member of the Donald Warden's Afro-American Association (Maulana Ron Karenga was the Los Angeles representative), the organization that gave birth to the Black Panthers (Bobby Seale, Huey Newton, et al) and the west coast Black Arts Movement (Marvin X). Paul established OCCUR, a social activist organization that fought for jobs on state highway projects. Paul went to jail protesting the non-hiring of Blacks. He also went to jail demanding the Oakland Public Schools hire a black superintendent, which it eventually did, Marcus Foster (assassinated by the SLA) and later hired Dr. Ruth Love. Paul worked at the Oakland Post, Oakland Tribune and served on the School Board. He eventually bought the Oakland Post and eventually hired Chauncey Bailey as editor.
Dr.Mary Ann Jones has over twenty years of knowledge and experience as a clinician and administrator in senior management positions. She became interested in healthcare management and advocacy through her work in the San Francisco Department of Public Health AIDS Office in the late 1980’s. From there she would go on to work as a research assistant at the Bay Area Perinatal AIDS Clinic at the University of California, San Francisco on the first AZT study with pregnant women; the Family Addiction Center for Education and Treatment with pregnant women addicted to crack and heroin; and, the Bayview Hunter’s Point Alice Griffith Crack Cocaine Program.
