The Monday, June 29nd episode of "What's Your Story?" will be dealing with the topic "Setting Boundaries vs Building Walls." Some of the thoughts we will discuss are:
1. How do we know the difference between a wall and a boundary?
2. When we build emotional walls, where do the "bricks" come from?
3. To what degree do our personalities impact our response to choosing to build walls rather than set boundaries?
4. How much influence or impact does our environment and lifestyle have on the height, breadth and depth of the walls we build to "protect" ourselves.
5. How do we remove the walls and instead begin to establish healthy boundaries?

Tonight at 7pm (CST) on "What's Your Story?" Special guest will be Dr. LaWanda M. Clark, The Communitarian. Dr. Clark's work and life is focused on the relationship between self and the community in which a person shares values, norms, meanings, history and identity. I'm super excited to have Dr. Clark joining me for this powerful episode as we dig deep into the idea of role reversal, manipulation and misuse of "perceived" power and the emotional fallout that follows these behaviors.
Dr. Clark will share her personal story with us as we attempt to unpack this controversial topic...What happens when "THE PREY BECOMES THE HUNTER?!?". Based on the proverbial saying..."It AIN'T NO FUN when the rabbit got the gun?!?!."

This week on Nick and Erik in the Monins "Who We Got Wednesday" Nick and Erik will have former House of Representitive Tony Payton on the show to talk "Financial Strategy" for families as well as how make immediate cgange in the lives of our young people.
Today on the BeachLifestyle Radio Show, Host Neil Haley The Total Tutor will interview Actress Ciera Payton.
Ciera Payton is a New Orleans Native with an authentic Southern girl charm. She was raised in multiple neighborhoods in New Orleans but she most identifies with the third ward. There, she lived with her drug addict father and Nanaw (Grandmother). It was under those circumstances that Ciera had to find a way to create her voice.
When her Aunt Kathy advised her to read Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Ciera discovered that, “If Maya got through it I could get through it too.” And that’s where she discovered her artist voice.
When Ciera was in eighth grade, her Nanaw died of cancer and her father was incarcerated. It was then that Ciera went to live with her mother in New Orleans East. This new world opened endless possibilities for Ciera. She joined her school’s Drama Troupe and then auditioned for the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. As a freshman, she auditioned for the introductory course at NOCCA, but was enrolled in the sophomore class.
The NOCCA theater program embodied the spirit and family ensemble that Ciera desired. She graduated from NOCCA as a junior and then headed to North Carolina School of the Arts for their High School Drama program and continued to study there for college.

Its back! The struggling young actress ( Lana Turner) and housekeeper, and daughter who deals with rejection. You pinned this one! We will discuss more in depth on why we love this 1950’s film so much. This show will have more detail, and continue on from the last show. We all can relate to this one. At the time and still is, this was the one novel one could not put down, turned into a captivating film. Who really knows their neighbor? True exposure in a New England town with a lot of consequences, from homicide to downright nasty scandals. Who knew that the drama could be so high in this film. Hey, you pinned it and that speaks for itself. Tune in Saturday at 6 pm and discover why you love this film so much. I think we are all in love with Lana Turner!
