    Paying Forward with Gratitude

    in Self Help

We need to reflect on what “gift-giving” is meant to be. When someone gives a gift to another, the gift is a symbol of the presenter’s giving of himself to you, so giving a gift should never be forced. Without the love of the giver in the gift, the gift has no meaning. Whenever a gift is received, there should be gratitude.

When someone gives a gift to another, the gift is a symbol of the presenter’s giving of himself to you, so giving a gift should never be forced. Without the love of the giver in the gift, the gift has no meaning. Whenever a gift is received, there should be gratitude. Gratitude is the moment when the gift and the giver are CELEBRATED.  Grateful people are happier, less depressed and less stressed. Grateful people have more positive ways of coping with difficulties they experience in life. They are more likely to seek support from other people, reinterpret circumstances and grow from the experience. Gratitude strengthens the immune system, lowers blood pressure, reduces symptoms of illness, and makes us less bothered by aches and pains. Grateful people sleep better, and this seems to be because they think less negative and more positive thoughts just before going to sleep.Gratitude is an affirmation of goodness. Gratitude encourages us to appreciate gifts ands to pay them forward.

Gratitude is not the same as indebtedness which occurs when a person perceives that they are under an obligation to make repayment of the gift. Indebtedness can motivate the recipient of the gift to avoid the person who gave it.

The quality of being thankful can be developed:

Start a gratitude journal, recording three to five things for which you are grateful everyday.
Write a “gratitude letter” to an important person in your life whom you have never properly thanked.
    Teach gratitude to children.

    The Pro's & Con's of Cloud Computing

    in Technology

Cloud Talk Radio is a weekly one-hour talk show focused on “The Cloud.”  The Cloud simply means having your computing resources – hardware and software – delivered as a service over the Internet.  No more buying expensive servers and upgrading software applications – you can now have all this taken care of automatically for a set fee.  New research has revealed that small and medium-sized businesses using Cloud technology are much more likely to experience positive financial and operational results. Despite this fact, though, just 14 percent of surveyed small businesses have embraced Cloud computing as a solution.  Well, the good news is that you can avoid being one of those companies that fails to take advantage of this important business trend.

Artur Beterbiev vs Tavoris Cloud Review, Beterbiev Better Than Kovalev?

    in Sports

Artur Beterbiev made the 175-pound limit for the first time as a pro yesterday, and made a stunning debut at the weight, demolishing former titleholder Tavoris Cloud with four knockdowns in just over a full round of action, knocking out Cloud in the second.

Beterbiev (6-0, 6 KO) is a decorated amateur who last competed at the 2012 Olympic games as a heavyweight, losing to eventual gold medalist Oleksandr Usyk. As a pro, he's fought around 180-185 pound on the scales, and waxed overmatched foes. But even if one considers that Cloud (24-3, 19 KO) was long ago "exposed" as a more run of the mill fighter than once was hyped, this was an extremely impressive statement, as a pro novice totally overwhelmed a sturdy veteran. Unless something escapes me at the moment, Cloud had never been down before this, even last year against Adonis Stevenson, when he was creamed for seven rounds before the plug was pulled on that fight. We will with out a shadow of a doubt be taking live calls on air from you the voice of the people. Cloud Storage: Making The Right Choice

    in Technology

Cloud storage is readily available and relatively inexpensive, and has become a compelling option for backups, disaster recovery, archiving, and sync-and-share services. Join storage expert Howard Marks and Interop Radio host Curt Franklin as they discuss how organizations can make the right choices around cloud storage. You’ll hear about the different cloud storage service types, get real-world use cases, and learn how to look beyond just price as a cloud driver.

Register now to get practical insights into the pros and cons of cloud storage, ask tough questions, and interact with your peers. Don’t miss Howard Marks’ tell-it-like-it-is take on storage and the cloud.
