Getting your life in alignment for what God has called you to be

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX Continues teaching from Psalm 18. Psalm 18 was written near the end of David's life to declare the faithfullness of God, but, actually the Psalm came to David the day that he was delivered from Saul.

Even though David was annointed by God to be king, he still had to go through a process.  A lot of people do not like to go through a process, but often, God will take you through a process before He promotes you. In the world you can get propotion, but if you do not have the character to handle the promotion it will not last. The process will provide you with the structure necessary to handle the blessing of God. God will take us through a process so that when the blessings come we will be able to handle it.

Psalm 18:19 says, "He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me." God's plan is that you would have adequate provision, clear direction, clear understanding for the thing that He has called you to do.  David wasn't perfect, but he had a heart that wanted to please God.  God delighted in him.

Pastor Brad continues by teaching from Isaiah 61 beginning in verse 7 about the "double" God will bless you with. Pastor Brad also speaks about Joseph in this light.

Get in agreement with what your assignment is

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX Continues teaching from Psalm 18. Psalm 18 was written near the end of David's life to declare the faithfullness of God, but, actually the Psalm came to David the day that he was delivered from the hand of Saul.

With David, no one saw a king, but God saw a king. God is able to bring tremendous change in our lives. This change is a process. The change that causes us to find the assignement that God has for our lives comes with provision and blessing.  In Proverbs 10:22 says, "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it and neither does toiling increasith." When we are working in the assignment the Lord has for us, the blessing of the Lord will cause us to be rich in all ways. Even Jesus increased in favor and stature with God and man (Luke 2:52).

Whatever God has called you to do (even if it is more than one thing), as we accept that calling we come into agreement with our assignment from God. No matter how hard the enemy attacks, you might want to quit, but the Spirit of God will tell you to stay with it.  This was evidenced for David even in a time of great trial. In 1 Samuel 22:1-2 it says, "David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him. David was in agreement with his assignment to be a leader, a King.

Pastor Brad continues to teach from Psalm 18.

God is going to give you solutions in your trials

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues ministering from Psalm 18. It is one thing to be annointed to do something, but you have to go through a process to get there.  David lived this. In Psalm 75:4-7 it says,
“I said to the boastful, ‘Do not deal boastfully, ’And to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up the horn. Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck.’ For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge ..." When we are believers, God is a God of justice and payback.

Promotion comes from the north. Promotion comes from the trial we walk through. God is going to give you solutions in your trials. Endure temptation and there will come a time when you will be approved. Hold on to the promise of God.
