God's desire to bless us in the area of finances

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues speaking about miracles and provision; specifically about God's desire to bless us in the area of finances. God wants to bless us in all areas of life.  In Genesis 24: 1 it says, "Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things."

As we look for blessings in our life, we look to Jesus.  In Luke 2:52 says, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." When you increase in wisdom you increase in all areas. If we are to be like Jesus, God wants us also to increase.

Pastor Brad provides teaching as to how to achieve this in our lives.

Hope for discouraged saints - Our hope is in Christ

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX speaks today about hope for discouraged saints. Many saints in the bible experienced discouragement. In Psalms 42:5-8 says, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, And from the heights of Hermon,
From the Hill Mizar. Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me." The thing that causes us to begin to rise again is hope in Him. It is helpful to remember the things that God has done. That is how you will remember and know the God that we serve.

Romans 15:13 says, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit causes us to be able to abound in hope.

Hope is not wishful thinking, rather it is the anchor in our lives.  Our hope is in Christ.

God takes us through processes to bring change into our lives, to bring change into our lives through the Holy Spirit being poured out into our lives.

Pastor Brad continues teaching from 1 Kings 19 about the prophet Elijah who had lost hope.

Believe and obey and you will recieve the supernatural provision of God

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues speaking about financial provision that the Lord wants to release in our lives. He begins by reviewing 1 Kings 17 about the widow woman. Learning to hear and obey the Lord is what will release provision in our lives. Psalm 92:12-15 says, "The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing; To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."

The story of the widow was a story about believing.  She believed the prophet. Believing cause there to be action. By believing and obeying the widow was given supernatural provision from God.

    Miracles of Provision

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX speaks today about the Miracle of Provision.  Have you ever needed a miracle of provision? Have you ever believed for a miracle of provision? Our God is a God of miracles in all areas. In 1 Kings 17:1-5 we see some unusual provision where it says, "And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word. Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there. So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. 7 And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

Elijah shows up out of nowhere and proclaims that there is one higher that controls the weather. There will be a drought, and then there will come a day when the drought will be over. When you obey the word of the Lord, that word opens you up for unusual provision and supply. You want to see unusual provision, trust in God. Proverb 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Finding your assignement and doing it is one of the keys to provision.  Also discerning when a season has changed, when it is time for a transition. Following God's plan for you will lead.

Jesus wants to bring healing to your life

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX begins speaking from Luke 4:18-19 where it says, "“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." Here Jesus is speaking of healing. Pastor Brad continues teaching about scriptures of healing. Healing is a part of the atonement as sure as the forgiveness of sins is a part of the atonement. Jesus died on the cross for our healing. We receive healing for our physical bodies the same way we receive forgiveness of sins -- by taking it. We have to take it. We have to receive it. This is demonstrated in the teachings from Mark 5.
