The 12 Devils Graveyards Worldwide- Vile Vortices -Paranormal Strange Activity

    in Spirituality

Join us for a conversation with experts on the Vile Vortices, including SA McNally and James Moses.

You’re probably familiar with the Bermuda Triangle, but did you know it has eleven siblings?

According to cryptozoologist and paranormal expert Ivan Sanderson (1911-1973), there are twelve spots on the globe that are areas where ships, planes or people go missing for unexplained reasons.  He called these navigational hazards the Vile Vortices.

Sanderson’s “Bermuda Triangle” is more of a trapezoid, but it’s still the best known spot for mysterious ship and plane disappearances.  Oddly enough, despite its reputation, there are only a handful of actual known disappearances in the triangle.  The most well known is Flight 19, a military training flight.  Fourteen airmen vanished, and the search squadron sent to look for them also vanished, claiming an additional thirteen airmen.  Flight 19 is well known in part because it was featured prominently in Stephen Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Although the Bermuda Triangle is better known in the Western world, the Devil’s Sea (also called the Taiwan Triangle) south of Japan is also a source of missing ships and planes, and appears on Sanderson’s map (upper left corner, difficult to make out).  The Devil’s Sea has long been known to Asian sailors, and according to some reports, shortly after World War II the Japanese fleet lost several ships in the area prompting the government to declare the region unsafe for travel.

    True Paranormal: Michelle Griffin

    in Paranormal

Hosts, Jonathan Lento and Deb DeRousse, are excited to spend the evening with Michelle Griffin.

For more than a decade, Michelle Griffin has been pursuing the connection between the spiritual, metaphysical, and paranormal philosophies. She conceived the idea of creating an event that bridged the gap between these three intriguing fields and it became Through The Veil. Since the first event, Through the Veil has taken on a life of its own as a spiritual meeting place where people come to experience the power of their existence. Viewing each event as a valuable stepping stone, Michelle continues to grow and share this wealth of knowledge with all who attend. She recognizes that synchronicity plays an integral role in defining her passion for assisting everyone in realizing their own perfect purpose.

Michelle has been featured in numerous publications, including "Haunted Times" Magazine, "Oracle 20/20" Magazine, skirt! Magazine and The Gwinnett "Daily Post." She is a contributing writer in Destiny vs. Choice by Marie D Jones and, Growing Up Psychic by Chip Coffey. Michelle also appeared in A&E’s Psychic Kids; Children of the Paranormal and the BIO Channel’s Celebrity Ghost Hunt.

Jen Pio, M.A.~Forensic Psychologist/The Paranormal in Hawaii

    in Paranormal

    Jen Pio

Jen Pio has her Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology.  She currently provides case management and outreach to the homeless community. She is a wife and mother with four beautiful daughters. Jen was born in Albuquerque, new Mexico.  Her family then moved to California where she grew up in Long Beach.  Jen loves playing softball and enjoying her family.  She has always had experiences of what people call "de ja vu", or as she wouId like to say, "It's been seen". Her oldest daughter showed some psychic abilities at a very young age, but it trickled away as the years passed. She thinks partly because it was not focused on or encouraged enough. They currently live in Westminster, CA.  for almost 2 years since moving from Kea'au, Hawaii where they lived for almost a year and a half. Jen will be speaking with us about the paranormal in Hawaii and her and her families experiences. One of the stories that we all have heard of is The Curse of Pele. "Pele’s Curse is the belief that anything natively Hawaiian, such as sand, rock, or pumice, will impart bad luck on whoever takes it away from the island. One version about the legend’s genesis is this: a disgruntled park ranger, angry at the number of rocks that were being taken from the islands by visitors, said that Pele would curse them with bad luck should they take anything. Another version often told is that bus drivers, tired of the dirt and grime brought on their buses by the tourists’ collection of rocks, started the story at the beginning of each tour to discourage the rock collecting. True or not, every year countless tourists send these back in order to escape the awful bad luck they acquired". (ZACH ROYER, paranormal Investigator.)
