Cara Bradley, athlete turned renowned yoga and mindfulness expert, reveals how to wake up, show up, and shine every day. Living an extraordinary life and feeling awake and fully alive is not about doing more, but about being more. It isn’t about achieving more; it’s about experiencing more. Cara says that when you shift beyond your to-do lists and drama-filled stories and show up in this moment, you will experience a profound sense of clarity, vitality, and confidence.
Cara is the author of a new book entitled, On the Verge: Wake Up, Show Up, and Shine. The Young Brothers return to Zone Coverage to join me and discuss the closing of Manny Pacquiao's hall of fame career. Is this truly his last fight? Only time will tell, but I'm guessing that this will be it for the Filipino born fighter.
He doesn't appear to have the interest that he once did and age is definitely starting to become a factor.
On tonight's show, we'll discuss the interest in the fight. Did people really want to see a 3rd matchup between these two? Especially since so many people think that Manny won the first two anyway. I'll ask my Show Legends who they would have rather seen Pacman fight other than Timothy Bradley.
Also on the show, we'll wrap up the Villanova/North Carolina final, some NBA talk, and anything else sports related as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!
Show No. 586
Scheduled for 90-120 mins.
This week on Relationships 2.0 my guest is Cara Bradley author of On The Verge: Wake Up, Show Up, and Shine
About the book:
In the final race of her college track career, Cara Bradley beat her personal best by a remarkable six seconds. Until then Bradley had been a so-so athlete hampered by pre-race jitters and self-doubt. But on this day Bradley was buoyed by a sense of calm confidence. She set about understanding how she could replicate this experience in every area of life. She has distilled what she found into four practices, four shift strategies, and a series of gut-check reminders for moving out of over-thinking and over-doing and into being fully awake and alive– clear, bright, confident. These techniques for settling busy mind, putting body and mind in sync, and cultivating awareness and strength are simple but require practice and attention, which Bradley coaches readers to apply daily. The reward is what she calls “high definition, high voltage living,” the ability to experience what Bradley did on the track not by accident, or in only a few memorable moments but on purpose, every day.

How did God become all of these religions that speak that their God is the straight and narrow path to the truth? To heaven? To being right or wrong? To eliminating those who do not believe the same? To saying that some are worthy of God's love and some are not? To those who believe there is no God? How did we put all of this on God when God is Love? How did we put pressure on ourselves by saying God told us it is so? How is it that we keep each other at bay over our differences of how we look at God when God says we are one and we are whole already? What benefits did we gain from accepting that God only exists in one way or another, and in theory is for all of us, yet only the ones that believe as we believe? We welcome Pastor Owen Johnson back on Prophetic Message.
