Dr. Joyce Johnson - the science of blood chemistry

    in Women

JOYCE JOHNSON is the president of Wellness Center Of America and received her nutrition degrees from California State University, Los Angeles. She specializes in hematology  (the  science of  blood  chemistry) and studied with famed  Dr. Harold Manner, who wrote the book, Death of Cancer. She worked with him in his cancer clinic where he taught her the science of cancer prediction and has fine-tuned this science through 45 years at her Wellness Center Of America. Dr. Joyce specializes in hematology as a blueprint for predicting disease way before symptoms appear.  By the time a person has symptoms they are in the final stages..Dr. Joyce specializes in the nutritional blueprint of blood, urine, and hair.  She says “your chemistries can warn you of a future health disaster 5 years before the symptoms appear”.  She predicts this by performing  99+ tests that are downloaded into her one-of-a-kind-in-the-world software program designed by physicist Dr. Frank Bingham.   This information gives the road map to preventing future health problems.  Dr. Joyce is living proof of the value of her teachings. At 84  she is energetic, extremely active, and looks much younger than her age. Yet 50 years ago she contracted such a debilitating case of arthritis that she could no longer teach ballet and was almost confined to a wheelchair. Today she is pain free and takes no medications. Her newest book is Blood Chemistry...the Key to Predicting Cancer and will give new understanding  about tests for measuring oxidative stress and telomeres as markers for length of life and disease potential.

Post Birth Control Syndrome: A modern woman's dilemma

    in Health

On our final episide of 2014, we'll be chatting all about the concept of Post-Birth Control Syndrome, a condition we feel has reached epidemic proportions for modern women.

We're sooo excited to have our very first guest on The Period Party! Her name is Kate Callaghan and she's a Holistic Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Coach specialising in hormone healing. She has over 13 years experience in the health and fitness industry, and 1.5 years as a Nutrition Expert for Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar program.

Her passion for working with female hormonal health stemmed from her own personal experience with hypothalamic amenorrhea, which you can read more about on her blog. Unsatisfied with the treatment options suggested for her by the medical community (hormone replacement medications), she decided to delve into the research and discover how to heal herself through targeted diet and lifestyle changes, which she has found, in herself and clients, to have great success, without the side effects of medication.

Voices Carry for Animals # 23

    in Politics

    Hosted by Debbie Dahmer

Guests will be: Danny Mason  Co-Host on (CWAPB) Conversations with a Pit Bull on  Foster Corder - Host on CWAPB & Fosters Animal World

The Dog House Rescue Foundation is coordinating a trip to Tijuana, Mexico with Shorty Rossi ( Pit boss ) and lots of  volunteers who will work with veterinarians in Tijuana to catch  homeless dogs, and spay/neuter and vaccinate , medicate , groom , do dental on 150 street dogs from the poorest parts of TJ Mexico .

These dogs also need medications to protect them from fleas, ticks, and heartworm. And if possible, we would like to help treat animals with more chronic medical problems like non-contagious demodectic mange and flea dermititis. With enough money, the Dog House Rescue Foundation can help fund foster homes for the dogs who need them while undergoing medical treatment.

This is a grassroots movement being put together entirely on donations. There is a limit on how much dog food we can bring over the border, so cash donations will help us more than food donations, as we will need to purchase the dog food in Tijuana. The spay/neuter surgeries are costing us only $15 per dog, so every donation, no matter how small, can help! The more funds we receive, the more dogs will be treated. The trip might  be documented by a film producer, and we will post updates on our Facebook page (soon to be posted). Donors will be able to see the dogs that their money is helping directly.

Operation Love Mary Lea is named after our primary sponsor, a generous and caring individual without whom, this project would not be possible. We hope to raise enough funds to take the opportunity she has given us, and make it as effective as possible for these dogs in need. Please join us in helping the desperate dogs of Tijuana!
Thank you, The Dog House Rescue Foundation
