Willie Peterson was born in Greenville, Alabama.lthough her parents were very poor, they instilled good morals and values in all the children. he fact that she was poor taught her to survive and make the most of every situation. Instead of dwelling on the past, she used it as a springboard to accomplish many goals that she was very proud of. Despite the
tumultuous journey of life, she took God by the hand every day. She was determined to pass her words of
wisdom and talents on to her family.
What Mama Said is a collection of quotes said by my mama, that are very thought provoking, humorous,
and inspiring. Each quote contains a message that really speaks to the heart and soul. Mama continues to pass on words of wisdom to her family.

She has spent over 10 years working to educate and inform communities across the tri-state area about various safety topics. Keba has practiced her passion for education, community outreach and marketing for some of New York City’s top agencies, including: NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
