    Spiritual Orphan

    in Spirituality

Do you know God as your Father? Are you in church feeling like you dont belong? Are there voice in your mind saying you dont belong here? God does not love you? You could never be part of the royalty,I am just a peasant dress in rags? Then this is the lesson for you. Tune in as we talk about the spirit of adoption and the spirit of the orphan.

    Romans 8:15

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

SPIRITUAL VISION AND THE ORPHAN SPIRIT

    in Religion

do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,…   Eph 1:17

‘The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”’ (Rom 8:15)

Signs of the Orphan Spirit in Church Life

God called and designed us to be a part of His church family—brothers and sisters in one body together. (Gal 6:10, 1 Cor 12) However, having an orphan perspective can affect our relationships in the church.

When your spiritual vision is enlightened, you will see into the spiritual realms. I believe that is what I have been experiencing. I also believe that Jesus also saw into more than one dimension simultaneously. You can also see into more than one dimension simultaneously as you learn to exercise your spiritual senses. I should also mention that I have prayed Ephesians 1:16-23 over my life consistently for over a decade.

The Little Girl Who White Supremacist, Ben Fields Attacked Is A Recent Orphan

    in Entertainment

Life, for many of us, is hard.

Life for a 16-year-old black girl in the New South living in a foster home is no crystal stair.

SHERIFF'S DEPUTY WHO BODY-SLAMMED BLACK STUDENT FIRED

In an interview with the Daily News, Todd Rutherford, the respected Columbia, S.C., attorney representing the assault victim of the recently terminated Deputy Ben Fields, revealed that his client, in addition to suffering injuries on her face, neck, and arm, is a recent orphan living in foster care.

While her identity, no doubt, will eventually be leaked to the media, it's the goal of her foster mother to protect and care for her as well as she can considering the circumstances. She communicated to us that the young victim is devastated and emotionally traumatized by all that has happened to her.

School, as you can imagine, could be particularly tough for a young girl who has experienced so much pain and loss in her young life. To think that she has now suffered police brutality and is facing trumped up criminal charges for age-appropriate classroom behavior is just despicable.

There was also another police murder in #Ferguson

A cop that murdered a young white man won't be charged.

And we have a Boko Haram Update.

A Life of Repentance and Faith

    in Religion

The life of discipleship is a life of repentance and faith. But biblical repentance is an often misunderstood concept. On one hand, some may think repentance is nothing but apologizing and continuing in sin, but on the other hand, some live in constant fear that their repentance is not good enough for God.

Join us as we explore answers to repentance and faith and how we can live in accordance to God’s glorious grace.

It is our prayer that you be Spirit-filled and blessed by what you will discover on this unique edition of Alive in Christ Radio LIVE.

During this hour, we will learn how God’s perfect love and faithfulness can help us walk hand-in-hand with God—leading us through this life into a life of total victory, in all things, through His anointing, discernment, and great comfort.

Tonight's Special Guest: Roger Record of the band, Holy Rain

Holy Rain began 10 years ago at Damascus Road Community Church (DRCC) when Pastor Roger Record felt the calling to gather together a group of talented musicians to use their gifts for something bigger. God has blessed DRCC with singers, songwriters, and musicians that desire to have deep, intimate worship and they found that when they combine their gifts for the glory of God and leave their ego’s at the door, they create something much bigger than they could ever have been on their own. Over the past 10 years, Holy Rain has produced three CD’s and led an annual night of worship combining both corporate worship and original songs for members of the community and congregation. Another deep desire of Holy Rain is to look after the orphan (James 1:27). 100% of the proceeds from their albums go towards supporting orphans and missions projects in countries all around the world including Honduras, Nicaragua, India and South Africa. Worship of the living God and serving the least of these is our passion.

    Calling to Islam

    in Islam

O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah , through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer. And give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [of your own] for the good [of theirs]. And do not consume their properties into your own. Indeed, that is ever a great sin. And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].And give the women [upon marriage] their [bridal] gifts graciously. But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease. Surah: 4 Ayaat: 1-4
